Unpleasant truths vs comforting lies - a matter of choice?

Wed Feb 08, 2023 1:06 am

It is very sad that over the last few years, more and more topics have been written about a large, well-known eastern constellation of closely related fraudulent agencies, alongside some other various stars.

Honor and respect to the UKGC for protecting the customers despite the unethical partnerships between a bright star of this constellation and Chelsea, Liverpool and Hotspurs. Obviously, the UKGC members are much more independent and responsible than some entities in Curaçao, Russia and Cyprus.

If Diogenes of Sinope was alive today, he could probably visit the governing bodies of PSG, Barcelona, Lega Calcio Serie A, and many other teams around the world, not only soccer-related but e-sports, etc. The Cynic enters their offices, holds the famous bright lantern, and asks: where is the honest man? Why did you sign an advertising contract with this scam company? Why do you mislead your fans?
He can also visit the offices of some Info Services and ask: why are you publishing the odds/ads of fraudsters?
But at the end of the day, Diogenes can ask any user of this star: have you done your due diligence? Why do you trust this entity?

Honor and respect to those users who warn others by sharing their experiences.

Unfortunately, all these so called ''Commissions'', ''bodies'' ''teams'' are only about the money and serving other interests. Absolutely no-one cares about the end user, no matter how many disclaimers they put.
But if we are talking about customers money, then it is up to them to do their DD (as you correctly say). When it comes to money, there is no nanny state I am afraid.
For years, I feel like an idiot, seeing all these millions being paid to advertisers, affiliates, competitors, while refusing to answer to their calls and emails that come up to the level of spam.

In the contemporary world, many are caught up in the illusion of short-term achievement. The illusion of visible things. A soulless world. "Maya" is in progress. "I must live now at all costs or I am dead." In short, they believe in the slogan "F...k them all" while the hypocritical shiny smile is on their face.
Well done to all honest modern people, the Elite Minority who refuse to bait others. Honor, Dignity and Justice have not taken root in the mass consciousness, perhaps deliberately kept out of the contemporary mass culture, for a reason. I miss modern-day Ayn Rand.
Once again, congratulations to these People. The ancient humanitarian ideas of the philosophers aren't lost, are they? Therefore, the World has a good future.
