Maybe it makes no sense trying to figure out when your account rings a bell. Let's assume that all accounts will pass a detailed KYC at a random point in time. Like this, you can never be surprised by Skrill and Neteller. Just my opinion.

If everything depends on random checks then what is the point talking about light accounts or whatever else they might name them. Light accounts will pass the mandatory verification process like every other account, even if you total transactions are 0.
Those who want to use these accounts, and I understand that many people use them, are in reality simply gambling with PaySafe.
Why now to gamble with a roulette then? It has more fun.

I can say for sure that there are no random checks nor filters. The tresholds are not 500 Euros/30 consecutie days and 200 Euros lifetime. They have set specific limits for each country that are not specified anywhere on the website.

Maybe another thing to consider when dealing with PaySafe, is that they change their T&Cs every week.
Add the EU regulations on that and you have the picture.

Could someone tell me how DAC 6 is expected to change the way ewallets operate and work?
This is a new EU directive about the mandatory reporting of cross-border transactions for taxpayers and intermediaries.
Thank you.

It is not clear to me what is the scope of DAC6 and how it will affect our business. It needs to be scrutinised to see if there is any skeleton in the closet. Very generally, DAC6 is about cross-border arrangements, whatever that means.

Only change i can see this affecting ewallets is for the first time we have different domestic fee and different cross border fee. The EU directive is mostly about crypto and fx since those are high risk cross border transactions.

Then there are no limits. Any possibility that PaySafe actions is triggered by other events, and not volumes? Tricky question I know.

Hey guys! judging by the market conditions, is skrill the best option out there at the moment ?
In my view, there is NEVER a unique best option in these business. Maybe the question would stand back in the 00s, but not now. To stay alive in these business you need to come up with several hybrids, where you use several options at the same time to lower your risks wherever they come from.
Ask your self:
Is it better using 1 alert service or 2 (or 3)?
Is it better using 1 ewallet or combine it with bank accounts and other wallets, (not to mention cryptos)?
Is it better using only Betfair, or use Pinnacle too (and possibly agents)?

I always use 2 alert services when I expect massive action, for example in the early stages of a Euro or a World Cup, and again somewhere in October when all championships are at the pick of their action.
As for payment processors and is currently a mess. A labyrinth I would say.

Some time ago I was hoping that blockchain and cryptocurrencies would solve all the problems that payment processors create. However this is not the case today. Only a limited number of exchanges and bookmaker accept cryptos as a mean of payments. I am wondering what is it that stops them.

Isn't it obvious?
Bookmakers found out they don't want the traffic that uses cryptos as means of payment because they (have good reasons to) believe this traffic is not profitable for them.
Ever wonder why these bookmakers that accept cryptos are far sharper than the rest?
