It was my strategy.
Now i am going to try another tactic and I'll start to use abs more than 1% from today.
I'll share my stats here in a 1 month.

Only reason for this could be avoid being limited quick by soft bookies right? because I can't see any other reason why would you skip a value only because is 1%+

what is your average stake size? im using limited account so its normally pretty close to the max which is normally between £4 and £15

My average stake size 20 USD.
But now I make bet with 10 USD per stake,

On which markets were values?
match odds, handicaps, totals?

Basically handicaps and totals.
I can share stats per markets if you want. What kind of sports do you interested?

if You bet 20$ units then I assume you have a bank of 2000$ + ? How much was the biggest downswing so far? Do you find value on high or low odds most of the time?

I started experimenting at the beginning of this season and am pretty much back where I started. I began using any exchange with good liquidity or sbo/pin as a reference point and then taking any outlier odds.
This hasn't had great results because even value-betting on the "weak" side of 4-10% arbs can prove unprofitable when the event or sport in question is not a major one and has little liquidity. Some of these are practically palps but the events in question seem to be very uncertain even on the "sharp" side as there is not enough money in the market to define the accurate representation of value, as others have said before it's quite difficult to define the weak or valuable side when the sport/event is not a major one.
I've been barely taking bets under a 3% threshold so thought I would yield some positive results regardless but I was obviously naive. Value-betting is a whole other area that I think requires different skills, it's probable that it has also become more difficult as the whole landscape of the industry changes to a more efficient model for the big companies.

How about concentrating on line value differences of 5% or more and also on underdogs and unders, since the public like to pound favorites and overs?
Been checking this with baseball this year and is off to a good start.

5%...how many will you find like these per day? 1, maybe 2.
My opinion (that i can't support with figures) is that indeed there is more value in the underdogs, since most players are betting for the favorites in an ''unfair'' way.

Thank you for your insights that I have seen on alot of pages.
Only 35 picks since Apr 10th, obv results are meaningless with this small of a sample (started good tho). Only added totals to be tracked in the last few days.
I use closing lines btw.
I used to create systems back in the day with bet labs on sportsinsights and found that long term, underdogs and unders in general were more profitable than betting the favts and overs.
So the idea for "value' that I had was a hybrid idea of targeting udogs and unders along when getting a great price (5% or more) on a softbook.
Any opinion will be appreciated but yours Mr.Arbusers would be cherished.

I was betting on value bets from January. After 700 of them, I changed tactic a little bit. First I was betting with flat stakes and had 5,48% return. Then I started betting with quite different system. Stake was based on difference between odds between softbook and basebook and of course also on highness of odd. And return after 1500 of bets is 9,38% with which I am satisfied. I used many bookmakers, also locals sometimes, just doing value bets everywhere where was possible.

Are you using alert services for that also?

Nah just using SBR odds for baseball, hockey and basketball.
Gonna try an arb service and set it up to where pinnacle has to be 1 of the books involved and set a timing for 10 minutes prior to game start (closing odds approx).
Also set the arb % right.
