Yes, with ROI I mean a yield of 4.5%. Average odds is 2.75, which makes the uncertainty even higher.

I only started betting eSports because of the whole corona-lockdown of sports, so many of the theories/models are in the first phase. It's interesting though, cause I was initially pretty devastated that all sports were on a halt, but now that I've spent a month looking into eSports, I see great potential in it becoming one of the top earners. Bookies have very different odds on the events, so some must be wrong. It's just about finding out which ones :-)

@Littletroll1
I agree with you completely in the potential. Those e-sport markets are in an immature state. Eventually they will get more efficient as in other sports, but it will take time.

I saw these very different odds in June 2019 and I immediately started hammering all those, using pinnacle as reference. After a 1000 bets or so, with unexpected low ROI compared to what I would have expected from the high EV, it was time to evaluate in which markets the sharp becomes the soft, vice versa or where neither is sharp. This is a continuous analysis which becomes better, the more data is being gathered.

It seems as if this sport is dominated by only a handful of different (immature) models and maybe they all have their strong parts. Bet365 probably has it's own models, but other groups of bookies seem to have identical odds, so they must share a common product. I think it is worth treating pinnacle as just another odds source in this small pool, so that we don't limit ourselves to always have this bookmaker in the equation.

You're not the only one who started betting eSports because of corono-lockdown. I've only played CS before but never used it for betting...Now I know pro teams and players  :-\

Hello!
I recently started value betting on Esports due to lockdown.
Sample is small 78 bets. Most bets are between Bet365-Pinnacle, where Pinnacle is used as sharp.
ROI = 3.1% with Kelly recommended stake. ROI = 7.9% when time before start is less than 12 Hours.

So it seems there is some value. Considering other members results Pinnacle seems sharp
mainly near match start, where odds are more reliable!

I had a problem which is not solved yet:
Bet365 shows a bet lost and the alert program i'm using shows win.
I don't know where to find valid results for secondary markets on Esports (
Oddsportal includes only results for Moneyline on Esports.
Any help would be appreciated!

Hello, i had a similar issue with a wrong bet settlement in e-sports and as i made a research for e-sports final results i found flashscore.com.It doesn't have all the results but there are included the most famous. So, if you want you can try it.Also, i'm looking forward to anyone else suggestion.

Have a nice day all of you.
