Welcome back, IBC

Fri Jul 15, 2022 11:58 pm

The IBC agency seems to be reappearing on some platforms. Are they testing anything before the 2022 FIFA World Cup?
Mainly in Asia, both the minotaurs IBC and SBO behave their own manner, especially in some tournaments there. I mean it does matter when they offer or not some markets in Asia, if so, what are the limits, odds quality, and so on. There are signals from those who know very well the markets and some of the IBC and SBO's reactions can be interpreted by the players in some way.
I remembered that SBO's last comeback on some platforms was during Euro 2020 and they offered low limits and mediocre odds in some markets, while in other markets the limits and/or odds were pretty well, vs rivals like Pinnacle and ISN.
Anyway, the behavior of IBC on some platforms after their return should be closely watched to decode some things in the markets and also for betting purposes.
Among the most interesting things, hypothetically, on the brokerage platforms during the future monstrous-liquidity tournaments like FIFA World Cup, ICC T20 World Cup, and many more like US Open, could be the additional development of the Mollybet Exchange and why not SBO to appeared again. Their competition against Pinnacle, ISN, Betfair, and more.

Bad service to say the least, charge very high fees, and their other name ACC-EX are scammers.

Their main name IBC is not much better, this thread is surreal"

I know the thread title says "solved" but still the way IBC behaved in this situation is unbelievable.

Wouldn't deposit 1 penny there, many other options just as good and much cheaper, and more importantly much more trustable.

Here I mean the famous agency IBC, which has reappeared in some brokerage houses, and not the broker BET-IBC. By the way, are they related in any way?

what's the point of coming back to mollybet with 25-50 USD limits? Have not seen more than 50 USD limit by IBC on any game after their comeback.

You're right that they aren't what they used to be for consumers worldwide via brokers. Let's see what'll happen. And some markets and odds are unique, but outside of brokerages.
These behemoths - the IBC (family of bookmakers/clones) as well as the SBO are very useful for reading some Asian games in depth if you know what to watch for. Do they offer certain markets of a given event or not, if not, why? If yes, their market appearance and behavior (odds range, margin, limits, time intervals, market behavior, and so on) may hint at something. That is valid for some very specific cases in Asia, which are appearing from time to time in Vietnam, Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, Asian Champions League, Under 23 games, and many more. Basketball, soccer, etc.
Several hours ago, I suspected something unusual and restrained myself to participate in the Malaysian Premier League event, Selangor PKNS vs Perak. At the moment of that posting, the full-time stream record of that event is still on the biggest video platform. If you're familiar with the peculiarities of an Asian style of soccer, and if you watch that full recording, you'll probably discover something.

IBC limits on mollybet on today's champions league qualification games are still around 25-50 USD. That's ridiculous. I thought they would increase limits at least on a matchday but it looks like they won't. Really useless book.

Haha, probably. But I assume that they’re at least trying to scale up, especially for the World Cup.

It seems that yet another classical Sharp as SBO has gone back again to some former clients through some brokers. Several hours ago in the English Premier League, this agency offered very competitive odds on the AH markets and surprisingly good liquidity (lower, but still comparable to ISN and better than any known exchange). Pinny had fantastic volumes here (AH), but not necessarily the best odds offered throughout the duration of the matches.

So, the calibration process before the World Cup tournament in some markets has been noticed and probably the most famous proven old classical and newer Sharps can be available to customers.
I wonder whether the margins on the offered odds could be reduced if the capable market makers (agencies and exchanges) are more than usual. Adam Smith's invisible hand theory insists on that.
