1st game of Euro 16 and I made a mistake after long time;
Arb appear of 1.3% with Pinnacle and local bookie. On local bookie asian handicap for France (-1) was 1.45 and Romania (+2) was also 1.45. I wanted to put $5500 on Romania(+2) but instead I put $5500 on France(-1). Damnnnnnnnn.
Now the match is going to start after few hours. I am not sure, how I can cover this bullshit without taking a massive hit in my profit. I have decided to ride this bet as gamble. If France score 1st goal, I will cover the arb but if match draws on 0-0 or Romania scores 1st goal then I am fucked.

Its worth ringing the book and saying you placed the wrong bet and can you change it. Most books will do this if its the 1st time you ever asked. Ahhhh..... match finally finished and France won with last minute goal. Atleast I get all my money back. I am happy for this. But it's stressful watching this match. In the future, I am not going to gamble like this crazy.

Just had a nice one. Had an open bet on the Gilles Muller - Raonic match for Muller to win 2-1.
Tried to cover it when Raonic was 1-0 up with a bet in the 2nd set for Raonic to win third set, but made stupid mistake and placed it on Raonic to win the second set

heh, simmilary i found out about middles in tennis totally by accident. djoko or was it federrer lost set one and i backed him to win the 2nd set and layed match odds on betfair. he won the 2nd set and lost the match winning me both bets hehe. this is more like brag than a beat isn't it... one time raonic forfeited in set one and i had like 1700 on him, went down the drain when betfair voided

Sept now at -£200 ffs, gotta laugh I have dodged mistakes all year up to today, and to top it all I was going to take today off as well but the missus got called in to work as an emergency this morning.

God has blessed me with a head that doesnt ever go on tilt, I thank him for that has saved me thousands to be sure. Still grabbing fivers and tenners euphemistically even when down £2000 on the day.
