Withdrawal is delayed cause of "routine checks"
So I am betting at Orbit through one of the nominated by Orbit agents. Everything was fine until this week, had already one quick withdrawal. But this week with a much larger withdrawal they don't process it saying betfair conduct a "routine check" of my bets and until they complete this check I can't get my money. Thats already very strange cause I bet only on big markets, there can't be fund passing or fixed matches there. But okay, if they want to check they can do it but do it quickly. The question is how long can they hold on to client's money without any reasons? Several days, a week, a month?

Bet-Football. Thats what they replied in the chat "As stated from previous conversations, your funds are being held in relation to a routine check by betfair. Which means that any movement of funds won't be possible. As also mentioned, its highly advisable to wait for any available updates once the investigation is concluded."

Re: Withdrawal is delayed cause of "routine checks"
Its already 8 days since Bet-football don't process my withdrawal. This week I only received from them an email where they don't like my source of funds answer. Thats the main part
"However, we still require the following outstanding documents to complete the verification process:Proof of Source of Funds (e.g. recent payslip, bank statement showing regular income, etc.)Proof of Source of Wealth (e.g. investment portfolio, inheritance documentation, business ownership records, etc.) Please note that screenshots or statements from other gambling platforms, by themselves, do not constitute valid proof of source of funds. These may be submitted in addition to primary financial documents but cannot be accepted on their own."
Honestly I don't understand what they want, my source of funds is betting, I've won at betfair, withdrew threw skrill and deposited at Bet-Football. I've sent them screenshots with a proof of that. I don't have "regular income" this high, when I started betting my first deposits were like 1k or even less.
And btw, yesterday same question (source of funds) was asked by Pinnacle. I've submitted the same documents and in several hours got approval.
Subject: Message from Pinnacle
Dear Renat, Thank you for submitting the requested source of funds documents. These have been reviewed and verified.
Please be aware that the verification is an ongoing process and we might need to request from you further documentation in the future. If so, we will notify you in advance
But Bet-football found another reason not to pay. Any suggestions what should I do now where to complain?

Source of funds will become more important, just people don't realise it yet. You have to prepare for this future, especially if you have consistent income from betting activities. Have some kind of labor/freelance contract, and other way of income streams - even if you paid some taxes on that. Talk to a layer/tax consultant/advisor to explore your option in your country.
Re: Withdrawal is delayed cause of "routine checks"
You messed the things up. THat may be one of the reasons of the check. You are well aware how thing work and that Brokers operate with different licenses/regulators. It is quite strange already having a Betfair account and Brokerage account on you own name, especially in EU area where we all know how strict regulators are.Renat wrote: ↑Fri Jun 27, 2025 3:26 pm

Re: Withdrawal is delayed cause of "routine checks"
I am 100% sure the problem is not my source of funds, first two days they said its it was just "a delay", then "betfair needed to check my bets", then "source of funds". They are just trying to find any excuse not to pay

Renat, what amount did you withdraw from Pinnacle when they asked for the source of funds, I just wanted to know for the purpose of understanding the numbers

Re: Withdrawal is delayed cause of "routine checks"
Recently I withdrew 50k. But I deposited earlier significant sums so it was about big deposits, When I had withdrawn also some big money from Pinnacle last year there was no source of funds question cause I've won then from small deposits.
