Alternative DNS Settings
« on: August 29, 2014, 02:21:10 PM »

Hello to everyone especially to greek community

It seems that forthnet decided to send its clients to other providers. Today I tried to login at prohibited betting sites and the Eugenio's message was diplayed on my screen  >:( .
DNS settings I have put was started with the know 156..... etc.
But they dont worl anymore.
Any other idea of new dns settings that are working perfectly to pass the ''embargo''?
I would appreciate if you will send me this info in private message for the obvious reasons
Thank you.

Change your dns to google's

8.8.8.8
8.8.8.4

And disable the Ipv6 protocol in your dns.

well if they blocked traffic on port 53 the only thing i know you can do is set up dnscrpyt which encrypts dns traffic and sends it out on a different port. A provider in my country did this recently and this was the only workaround i managed to get running.

I don't have a problem with this provider so maybe there is something else going on.

use dnscypt
make sure to download dnscrypt client first
