MG Tennis Tipster
« on: July 25, 2015, 09:17:15 PM »

Hello, had a post of presentation but haven't updated on a while and probably was removed for that reason.

I’m a professional Portuguese tennis tipster with deep knowledge in this sport and also in market analyze.
My academic formation and work experience have allowed me to specialize as tennis tipster in the last years.
I started my formation with a Physical Education degree, which allowed me to get a good knowledge in the following areas of this sport:
- Technical-tactical area of the game
- Physiological area
- Psychological area
After that I completed my formation with a Finance degree, to get a better understand of the market functioning and also to learn investment theories in order to maximize my income and to reduce the risk.
During these years, I’ve also worked as tennis journalist and had the chance to interview some of the best players of the world, including former Grand Slam champions.

I've been working over the last two years on Blogabet running a paid service with over 2000 bets and 5% Yield. Our work method is all about diversification, due to my academic background and experience I've learned that the best way to decrease the effect of variance is to make a high diversification. After a very solid 2014 season, the start of 2015 hasn't been easy which is perfectly normal on this business, Bookies improve everyday, so is the tipster job to improve too and find ways to get advantage and get value.

All our bets are placed on Asian Bookies with high limits, over 99% of our paid picks are posted on Blogabet, the rest are on SBOBET and Dafabet.

Important information about the changes on our work method. Since last two months we have used a higher diversification approach where he make a lot of splits in our bets, instead of picking with stake 3, we split some times in three bets 1 - 1 - 1 and other times in two bets 2 - 1. Despite our high volume, this generates a higher number of picks than the number of matches we are envolved.

We'll keep working hard as always and thank you for the trust.

August Analysis:

After two very demanding months with high volume, we decided that in August we would reduce our number of selections. Is important to know when to rest and recover energy in order to perform a high quality work and that's the main reason why we decided to reduce our volume in this month.

Next week we'll be working on Cincinnati ATP, WTA and also looking for possible value opportunities on Challenger Tour.

Thank you for the support and lets make some money!

August recap

After two previous months ending over the 20 units barrier, August was a slower month for us with lower number of picks and also lower profit. Still a positive month with 4 units profit and 2% Yield

We have entered two very hard working weeks with the last Grand Slam of the year and there are alsso some nice news regarding a partnership with Sports Book Review with daily articles and videos for the US Open.

US Open over

After a great start last week of US Open wasn't the best but we're still in postive ground for 4th straight month which is extremely good after the tough start of 2015.

Last months have been very demanding and we're going to take couple of days off. We'll be back for Davis Cup next Friday and for the last stages of WTA Quebec & Tokyo.

Last week recap and next week plan

Last week our main focus was on Davis Cup with two successful bets on semifinals ties.

For this week the ATP tour returns with Metz & St. Petersburg while the WTA continues in Asia with three tournaments: Guangzhou, Seoul and Tokyo. Despite not placing many bets recently on Challenger Tour we have always kept an eye on those competitions and if some investment opportunity appears we'll take it and this week there are 6 Challenger tournaments.

We'll keep the same working method that we have used skipping the first rounds in order to confirm the players motivations and reduce the unknown variables in our investments.

Last week recap and next week plan

This week we returned to action on ATP and WTA with 8 plays, wasn’t a brilliant week ending with a small profit of 0.07 units.

We feel that we could have got a very solid week but unfortunately on Friday there was a tough loss at Guillermo Garcia-Lopez. We picked Garcia-Lopez at 2.04 who closed at 1.91 with solid market value for us, won the first set and was 4 – 2 up in third set tie break however wasn’t able to confirm any of those leads and lost in a very close match that could have given us a massive week.
Despite that we bounced back well after Friday and very confident for the next weeks. After the difficult start of season we’re close from ending the 4th straight month in profit.

Next week there are the following tournaments:
-   ATP Kuala Lumpur; ATP Shenzhen
-   WTA Tashkent; WTA Wuhan
And despite not placing a bet on Challenger tour in a while we always keep a look on those tournaments and will do the same this week with 6 Challenger events taking place.

Free Outright Pick:

ATP Shenzhen Tournament Winner: Tomas Berdych @2.75 Bet365

ATP Shenzhen is played on Hard Court and 1st seed Tomas Berdych has a great opportunity to return to title. Berdych last trophy was in Stockholm 2014 and this season lost already three finals at Doha, Rotterdam and Monte Carlo.

Berdych is not a player who is usually very motivated for this lower level events but after an early loss last week at St. Petersburg and with such an easy draw he has a great chance for the title.

Berdych has an extremely easy draw until the final: first match against Austin Krajicek who is a Challenger level player and shouldn't be big resistance. The next opponent should be 6th seed Jiri Vesely, he has a strong serve and solid baseline game but is a lower level player and Berdych should overplay his fellow countryman with his higher quality groundstrokes. At semifinal the most likely opponent is Tommy Robredo, the Spanish has been far from his best and recently he was crushed by Berdych 0 - 6 1 - 6 at Cincinnati.

At the final the biggest challenge against 2nd seed and last year US Open champion Marin Cilic. Berdych leads h2h 6 - 4 and should be favorite for this match however won't be an easy match for the Czech.

The big value is to take a position on Berdych and at the final trade him to collect some profit because the biggest challenge for him will be for sure the final while in the rest of the tournament he shouldn't have much problems. Berdych is at 2.75 on Bet365 for the title while Cilic at 3.50 so the Czech should be slightly favorite at the final around 1.60 - 1.70 which can guarantee a solid profit by taking him now for the event at 2.75 on Bet365 (or try a move at an exchange bookie) and trade him on the final to reduce the risk.

As predicted Berdych had an easy road into the final and to add more value Cilic lost in semifinals against Garcia-Lopez. Tomas should be heavy favorite in the final and it seems a good opportunity to trade out some stake and guarantee some profit. I believe Berdych can win but he's far from a reliable player at finals with a 10 - 17 career record and no value in let 100% of stake run into the final

Pinnacle has already odds available for the match and you can bet on Garcia-Lopez at 4.22 which would represent a guarantee profit of 66% with a full trade. We advise to make this move due to Berdych poor finals record, he only won 1 of last 7 and also has a h2h of 3 - 3 with the Spaniard. We believe that Berdych should win but clearly on value on let the bet run and this is a solid opportunity to guarantee already profit.

October Analysis:

So far has been a quite nice October month, we're keeping a low volume like we announced and also similar to our working method in September.

Numbers so far this month:
Picks: 11
Won: 9
Lost: 2
Units Profit: 11.01
Yield: 33.36%

Next week our focus will be on ATP Moscow, Vienna, Stockholm and WTA Luxemburg and Moscow.

As always we'll keep an eye on Challenger Tour and if there is a good opportunity we'll bet on it.

October Recap and November Analysis

We’re glad to announce October numbers: 21 picks; 9.42 units profit; 14.95% Yield.

This was our 5th consecutive profitable month and we’re heading now for the last tournaments of the year.

As we said couple months ago, has been a very demanding season and our mindset for this last months of the year would be to use a low volume. In November the same should be expected and we already started that month with a winning bet.

The season will end on November 29th with Davis Cup final. This week our main focus will be on ATP Paris however we'll follow WTA Zhuhai and Challenger events, always looking for solid investment opportunities.
