looking for experienced arber for partnership
« on: April 14, 2016, 11:31:14 AM »

We are a couple of programmers that have developed an interest in arbing.
We want to build a software that will make money on auto pilot. No human interaction. Unfortunately, we lack the arbing experience that we need to make such a program, so here is where you come into play. We are looking for an experienced arber that makes at least $20k/month. You will be like a project manager. You will decide what features get into the software, what features don't, how the program should act under specific circumstances.
What will you get out of this deal?
Well, for starters, you will be able to use the program we develop and given that it will do everything just the way you do it but faster, it should increase your earnings significantly, while at the same time reducing the effort you put in.
Other ways to monetize this partnership are available too, but we can talk about that later.
If you are a serious arber that makes a lot of money and want to make even more please replay to this topic.
I wish you all steady earnings!

I'm a software engineer and I do the same thing. The approach can definitely work, but you will find out quickly that your code will need to have a ton of logic for detecting lines that are wrong/errors - because the bets you place on them will ultimately get cancelled. Betting wrong lines regularly will also get you limited at a sportsbook more quickly.

Deciding what is and what isn't an error line is a task that humans are pretty good at, but writing out all the logic for determining whether a bet is an error algorithmically is a long game of trial and error, unfortunately.

Auto-Arbing software is level of artificial intelligence. If someone makes it work, arbing would die out in few weeks. All value odds will be detected and slashed in seconds. Books that dont react, simply bankrupt.

I had the same idea when I started arbing and I tried to hire the services of a software company to do the programming part. The answer they gave to me, after studying the matter, is that bookmakers do everything to stop that any kind of software could place automatic bets. I am now an experienced arber, and i would like to partner up with you in such an interesting project, but it might be impossible from a technical point of view.
Plus, this program would need to know how to identify errors and what surebets are good to place, which i don't think a machine could always do.

I don't see any problem finding arbs. The problem with arbing is quite different today. You will get limited very soon almost everywhere. You need to solve this problem...
It could be useful only for limited accounts and placing many bets like 1 EUR, but you won't make 20k EUR monthly this way.
