Good Afternoon,

I pray you can help or advise on an withdrawal issue I have with 10bet who are in short insistent on trying to pay me to a paypal MERCHANT ID (which paypal support say is impossible and confirmed I need to be payed to my paypal email address, thus ive not received my funds) rather than to my paypal email address.

Below ive gone into great depth about the whole situation I apolagise for its length but its best to be thorough.  I know its only for £16.50 but it could just of easily been for a lot more.  For security ive starred out the email addresses.

Please help im stuck in an impossible situation with a withdrawal issue. I will go into great detail to be very comprehensive so apolagies. This has been going on for best part of 2 months and your my last hope.

When i 1st had my 10bet account i deposited using a paypal account.  About 2 months ago i closed this paypal account (m*****co.uk) then realised i had £46.50 in this account. (I closed this paypal account as I recently had been bank card frauded and got scared)

10bet support asked me to create another paypal account to be sent these funds saying that funds have to be sent using saying deposit method.  I did this the new paypal account was called t*******@googlemail.com but repeatedly i was not able to receive the funds to this new paypal account as 10bet.co.uk repeatedly informed me via email that the funds have been sent to the original account closed paypal account (m*******.co.uk)

Eventually 10bet managed to somehow get £30 sent to this closed m*******.co.uk paypal account and informed me that paypal withdrew this £30  to my bank account.  I can confirm that ive received this £30 but still need the last £16.50

As 10bet.co.uk managed to send money to me somehow by sending to the old paypal account i thought i no longer needed the t*******@googlemail.com paypal account i closed this paypal account but then soon after day after 10bet.co.uk said that i needed to create a new paypal account to receive the remaining £16.50 i did this and my only paypal account i have now is max****@gmail.com.

10bet.co.uk support asked me to provide a screenshot of this max******@gmail.com paypal account as well the MERCHANT ID which i found strange as ive never heard of a company needing a merchant ID for someone like me just a normal guy and im not a business and honestly did not even know what this is or where to find it initially.  They said they would process the withdrawal and expect the money by 23rd of august but ive not got this money and this is where the problem starts.

10bet.co.uk have informed me that they have sent this £16.50 to my paypal MERCHANT ID for this paypal account and the problem is that im not receiving this money that 10bet support have confirmed they sent to this paypal merchant ID.

I contacted paypal and asked for help with this matter and they confirmed to me that im only able to receive funds to either my paypal email address or my confirmed mobile number on my paypal account also they did not know why on earth i was asked to provide a merchant ID or why 10bet would try to send to the merchant ID on my account as this is normally just used for businesses\sellers.

I asked paypal to please put something to this effect in writing to me that i may send to 10bet support to confirm that ive not received this money and also that im not able to receive money to a Merchant ID and that im only able to receive money to my paypal email address. Please see copy of email i forwarded to 10bet below.

Please see copy of message from paypal confirming ive not received this money and that im not able to receive funds to merchant ID also that funds need to be sent to my email address of m*******@gmail.com

Dear Mark,
Thank you for contacting PayPal regarding your issue receiving a payment from 10bet.
As per our conversation the Merchant id you are referring to on your online account is an internal reference and no funds can be sent using this reference. The only way funds can be sent into a PayPal acc is via your email which is max*******@gmail.com or the verified contact number on your account.
I can confirm no funds have been received totalling £16.50 from 10bet to any of your emails on your account and I can confirm sending payment to the above Merchant Id will not go anywhere as there is no account registered this way.
Please consult with 10bet and ask can they resend this payment to you via the above options.
Thank you for your time.
It is my pleasure to assist you. Thank you for choosing PayPal.
Yours sincerely,
Michelle

Dear Customer,
Please note that the transaction was done by the explicit advice of PayPal themselves to arrange the payout through the Merchant Account ID Reference as this is how their 'Mass Payment' Facility works.
Please contact them back and explain that the Merchant was explicitly advised to process the payout via the Merchant ID Reference rather than via any other parameter. The processing was already executed - they should be able to reflect it in their system.
Kind Regards,

I oncemore contacted paypal who once again had no idea why a company would try to send funds to me in this way and again confirmed that im only able to receive funds via either a confirmed mobile number or email address.

I then contacted 10bet support again informing them of what paypal has told me but they just replied back with the below.

Dear *****,
Following our phone conversation, I would like to inform you that I have checked your case.
As I informed you, the funds were sent to your account and they should be available for you now.
The payout was arranged through the Merchant Account ID as per PayPal's explicit advice. This is why the processing has already been executed in this way. PayPal should be able to track it.
If you still don't have the funds, please contact PayPal and ask them to communicate directly with us.
Thank you for your cooperation in advance.

As requested i then contacted paypal on the phone again but they confirmed they would not be able to contact 10bet directly regarding this matter (as a customer I do not feel it should really be my responsibility to be a mediator to ask paypal to speak to 10bet) and they once again confirmed i would not be able to receive funds to a MERCHANT ID but Paypal did ask that i request 10bet please confirm the transaction ID.  Below is a copy of this message from paypal which i have forwarded to paypal support.

Message from PayPal
Dear M*** *****d,

Hi this is JC from PayPal.

This message is in regards with the conversation that we had earlier about the payment that has been sent to you using a merchant ID. Based on our conversation you specifically ask us to send you an email regarding the conversation that we had about this issue. On the other hand, I advised you to ask for the transaction ID  for us to be able to check on the payment that has been sent to you so that we can check on the transaction to further help you.

It is my pleasure to assist you. Thank you for choosing PayPal.

Yours sincerely,

The latest now is 10bet have said they will try and get the transaction ID for me but as a customer I don’t feel it should be down to me to keep liasing between 10bet and paypal.  10bet should make sure I get the money and send it to my paypal address.  Every time I rang paypal they were at a loss as to why 10bet have both sent the money to a merchant ID and also insisting that they must send me the funds this way.

Im now in an impossible situation as ive done all that is asked of me by 10bet.co.uk support but ive not received these funds as the method they have insisted on using is my paypals MERCHANT ID and paypal have confirmed im unable to receive these funds this way.  Im stuck in an infinite loop of 10bet asking me to contact paypal and paypal informing me i will not be able to receive funds to a merchant ID.

Ive requested in the interest of customer service to please be sent funds via another method bank transfer\cheque but they say they cannot pay me via another method due to anti money laundering laws.

Please if there is anything anyone can do to help\advise me as im powerless to do anymore as a customer of 10bet.co.uk I’m so so stressed ive spent so many hours on the phone or sending emails ☹

kindest regards

Mark

sorry, i don't want to hate, but: really? all this effort for 16,5£?!   :o

your time and energy must be more worth than 16,5£..
my advice:
1. don't delete your eWallet accounts every 2 days  ;)
2. let go of that 10bet bull**** and stop chasing those 16,5£. focus on putting your time & energy into making money.
