I cant see anything valuable in this trading. Do you consider value of your bets ?
Tell us the principle, where are the money you want to earn ? If not a secret, of course.

I don't think it's a good idea that you openly claim that you are trader/arber. It could damage you in your current/future job because when people find out what are you doing they just label you as a gambler. Also in case of some dispute with a bookie there is no reason to give them free ammo.

About bookie, which to sign and how to arb? Read the forum and you will figure what bookie is suitable for arbing.
If i were you, I would start arbing in your local shops. Choose 2 or 3 local shops and compare odds with pinnacle/sbo/betfair. Open account whit pinnacle/sbo/betfair (one of them) and manual compare odds for 0-2/3+ games (for start). Try to place bet in the shop and then cover it on the other side(!not other way around). You should be able to find few arbs a day.

Then you should move online and just start arbing one by one. You must do your homework and check every bookie (here and on other sites) before you put your money on any bookie. Even then you are not 100% secure. You can use some software (for $) for finding arbs. They are also present on this forum.

Jeez guys I didn't mean to "label myself" anything.

I am purely a guy with a passion who wants to find additional income to my job and enjoy doing it. And maybe find some friends on the way.

I'm no trader I'm not a successful gambler, I'm not arber and that is why I posted this in the Newbie section.

And the quote "damaging myself" I'm just writing a blog about mostly failures! And a desire to learn!

I didn't realise arbing was the only thing discussed on the forum guys and if I'm honest I'm just looking for some like mind guys for advice and chit chat.

Thanks for advice I'm not saying this in anger! I'm just posting thoughts, and who knows maybe I will make a success or arbing but it's all new to me!

I have had a disaster today anyway so you can all say "I told you so" lol

Janajana and Zarak

JanaJana - what you are saying makes sense to me! Considering the value!? I see the value when I get involved obviously... But yeah it's tough to realise that value in the end! Do you have any trading experience mate or have you always been an arber?

Zarak - thanks for all the suggestions for the arbing. My post above relays the fact I'm not claiming to be no expert. I'm not selling, this started as a journal to improve myself and grow. That's all. I appreciate your advice and I will start looking for arbing opportunities! I have read this forum since since I signed up so I'm getting it bit by bit!

Cheers guys

A small losing night due to some late trades but the Full game trades went well.

Took a whack form Betfair which was a killer to my poor graph. Some interesting trade though!

You only miss the chances you don't take.
The best message about that book for me was the difference in mentality between what will be the forever poor and the successful.
When poor ppl make money or luck into it they want to spend it on items to make them happy.
When successful ppl make money they look for ways to use that money to make more money.

So true rooster!  a real eye opener on what we should do with our money! Being one step ahead and thinking about it. Great book!

Me...I'm blowing my money lol! Another losing night but it WILL change... Still in profit over all
