Arbitrage
« on: April 13, 2017, 02:23:33 PM »

Hi my name is Fred I'm new to the forum :)

I started some days ago sport betting, I have only value betted until now and actually I have an ROI of a 10% (300 bets).

Now I would like to begin do some arbitrage betting but I'm worrying about being limited or getting my account closed... I read in an article which says that Pinnacle does not limit arbitrage bettors.

My question is what happens if I choose an out of line odd (very high) for example on Pinnacle and a "normal" odd on Bet365 for at least 2% profit? Will Bet365 discover me arbitrage betting and close/limit my account?

Thanks in advance!

P.S.: If you want to look at my webapp for calculating theoretical odds go to: https://4skinskywalker.github.io/FBB_System/ the password is: lovebet

B365 like all soft books will quickly limit you if they suspect you are arbing.

If your line on B365 is “normal” you're on the safe side. In real life though pin will mostly have a sharp line and a B365 be out of line if you use these two. That's why the first one is called sharp- and the second softbook. They can change places in the future (unlikely) but the relation of the sharp and the soft will remain the same.

I just got limited on William Hill.

I do not even sure betted!

I was looking for a good double chance 1X odd and I decided to make my own using the the best odd for X on Pinnacle and the best odd for 1 on William Hill, I made my calculation and placed the bets.
After one hour I tried to place another bet and my limit was around 3,92euros... They did not send me any email neither a notification.

So it's an istant process

Consider your limitation your official welcoming party to the world of betting.
You will find a lot of good information here to continue your journey if you spend some time reading through the forums.

My bets were not even considerable in my opinion, 16euros each.

One bet shouldn't get you limited,  something tells me that we're not really seeing the full side of the story.
Did you place several bets before that were picked from the highest odds.

It also might have to do with your ip.address and or geographical location.
Bookmakers are known to look this info up, and if you are already flagged from choosing the highest odds, then it may add weight to getting limited.

and by highest odds, means the highest possible odds at a particular time where the odds were higher than the average. (i.e an arb)

You'd better either leave or stop promoting that scam bookie, we are not interested. Nobody here will fall for it. Just move on.
