For curiosity, now with closed Matchbook's accounts , I imagine there will be demand for Matchbook's clones. Are there any white label accounts, like 21Bet offered? Thanks

21Bet are no scammers. All legitimate players will be paid completely in the end. But this is a process that will take some time.

As the Betfair exchanges markets get weaker and odds less effieicent/ less sharp all the betfair copycats really struggling.
Smarkets posted £9m loss in 2018, that's why they done that stupid pro tier. Rather than address the issue of weak odds they changed the pricing? How is that going to help? You would think these multi million pound business would have basic knowledge of how betting markets work.
I'm shaking my head in disbelief.
I would advise anyone who uses a betfair clone to keep a manageable balance which wouldn't be the end of the world if that particular clone went bust.
Betfair have had no real interest in the exchange for many years now as they focussed on the betfair sportsbook. The volumes matched have massively dipped and it's no surprise to me to see the clones losing money.

I have serious doubts about smarket's management efficiency.
Betfair clones were hit by a number of sharp players, some of them might be in the dark side of the business.

It is a reality that many highly positioned managers in this industry are clueless.DPG wrote: You would think these multi million pound business would have basic knowledge of how betting markets work.

Mirroring betfair odds must have worked for smarkets in their first few years of operation but it doesn't seem to be recently. They need to figure out that they should not be copying odds from non-liquid markets. I hope they come to their senses as it would be a shame for them to disappear or just become another bookmaker. I used to use them a fair bit.
What they've done so far - limiting bets to 1500 per month and forcing people on to pro tier where they pay commission on losses aswell as wins is a bit of a joke.

The owners robbed the players and sold the company. They also deceived the buyer and hid the company's debts. Criminal history.

Continuation of history. I wonder how they got the GB and MGA licenses since Hogg wasn't the owner of 21bet. Scammers.
