I would like to inform this lovely community that Peru is going to offer some incredible opportunities for those willing to do the extra mile. Why am I saying that openly? Because we decided not to go after these opportunities.

We estimate the Peru will give at least 45 licenses to bookmakers to operate legally in the country. The number could go much bigger at a later stage. Many bookmakers operate in Peru right now, but they are at the grey area. Most of them will be licensed soon.

One of the good things with Peru is that all taxes will be at the operators back, and bettors will not be taxed, at least for the foreseeable future. Those who speak Spanish will have an advantage in this country. I hope that helps. Good luck to all.

Lastly, I am sorry that I do not answer to your questions here and in other threads.
Fascinating as always, campeones.
Can you say why you decided to pass on Peru?

Hello,

thank you for sharing your experience. It's really interesting topic.

We are staking team, we are betting in few countries. Nowadays is really difficult to stake, I think is new Betradar system, because few countries affected and what was possible few months ago, now isn't. Everything changed, in my eye in Europe betting for sharks ending, too many regulations for company. One year ago, we could stake really well, few months ago, we could stake well only live matches, today we have problem even live.

Prematch betting is really difficult, always was, but this what happen now on market is terrible. I'm not surprised, people like us take a huge part of the company's profit and fight it.

The most important in this job are betting shops, what in Europe also is ending. New generation of players, don't using shops, all are betting online.

I read about Brazil and this Peru, especially Brazil is looking nice, but in press I don't read anything about betting shops, do you have maybe some information about it? Maybe soon I will check it yourself how is looking situation in this country, because especially Brazil looking like shops with candy for us.

Peur is very poor country, maybe in next few months we will know how situation is there.

Did you take into account the security there?
Almost everyone that do shops in big volumes lost some money because of thieves. And i'm talking about Europe....

Yes, in the past we also lost a lot of money because of this. How many times workers/owners lose our money in casino... There is no need to even mention the thieves, are terrible. In general, is our risk and we deal with it.

You always have to be very careful, but the employees at the points are often helpful here. We always try to have a lot of local contacts. If is possible, we always try to meet someone before we're starting making deals.

Man, South America is dangerous. Soon or later, runners will be an objective. It's not just because of the money, but also the security of the runners.

In Brazil you can still find penny accounts through agents. They are the shops.
