I think the UK will try to turn the "leave" vote into a "remain" by keeping trade free with EU states when possible. Overall I think it the exit is bad for Britain.
In my opinion a 50%+ majority shouldn't suffice for such an important change. A stronger majority should be required. For example in many countries a constitutional reform requires 2/3 majority. In democracies we have the option to change our decision in every election.
For something so important Brits are not giving themselves the option to change their minds. This isn't fair to the younger generation who voted to remain.

Ive gone big on LLOYds and BARclays today. I may be wrong but the 30-40% drops are insane IMO.

Congrats to Brits from me too & i hope its for the best for their country.
i see an interesting conversation here so i want to ask a question mostly to brexit believers as i think no one really answered this question & im curious to see some thoughts.
Dont you worry about that the 73% of the young generation (future) voted to remain?
To me, it has more value when the decision for the future is taken from the young generation & not from the 65+ year olds.
Accidentally i compare it with the Greek referendum that 85% of 18-24 voted for no even if the no didnt really matter.

Re: Arbusers position on Brexit
What was the turn out of the younger generation. Did they go to the booth, or did they stay neutral? And what were the origins of those who made it to the booth?GrayFox wrote: Dont you worry about that the 73% of the young generation (future) voted to remain?

In my opinion, Brexit was extremely shortsighted and economically detrimental decision. Interested in how things move forward from here.

What is the annual % dividend they pay?
Maybe you should be looking to sell your stocks tomorrow morning after opening and then re-examine an entry point.

18-24 / 73%
25-34 / 62%
35-44 / 52%
As about origins etc i thought UK was used to multi cultured anyway so i thought this was not a problem.

I saw some statistics only about age groups & how they voted so i was curious.Arbusers wrote:What was the turn out of the younger generation. Did they go to the booth, or did they stay neutral? Turn out is the percentage of people that went to the booth, and not the result according to age.

Re: Arbusers position on Brexit
I see.
Im not sure how this works guys thats why im asking.
So how they got this results if it was a secret ballot?
Also we see & read the rise of racism & right wings groups on net or tv etc.
How is life in reality there?
Some Greek friends in England got terrified from the Brexit results & i still dont get why.

They shouldn't. The UK will be a support when Greece leaves EZ or the EU.GrayFox wrote: Some Greek friends in England got terrified from the Brexit results & i still dont get why.

You see and read all this and you wonder why they're terrified? Because the colour of their skin is one tone darker than the local average is enough reasonGrayFox wrote: I see.
