At this point I don't think we have to wait until the end to see if what you wrote comes true or not. You have nothing to prove. In the entire Internet there is not and I have not read a more concise and more accurate approach of BTC. You generously give information that you have labored over and need knowledge. ARBUSER is a model of thinking and strategy.

So did you call the call boys to celebrate?

In any investment office anything above 30% is a reason for lavish bonuses to be paid and champagne to run like a river. Many offices organise orgies with call girls (and call boys to be politically correct). So in that angle, I am correct.

Would like to take the time to appreciate @arbusers for the continuous lessons and and education on this thread and others. You rarely find good mentors or teachers around. Nevertheless if you mistakenly happen to find one with skin in the game then the cost of even saying hi will be tremendous.
Thank you for the years of learning from WTI to ASE to Shell and BTC.
I imagine a lot of eyes here and a 20% not gained to protect 150% is what I will expect from a mentor than following moon boys who rode from 69k to 17k diminishing their wealth at the same time. Mentors with years of experience > moon boys.
Thanks once again Arbusers

Re: Bitcoin analysis and investing strategy
Now regards the latest upwards trend and breaking through the resistance line at 48/49k has that changed the circumstances for now?
Or do you still think there’s a good chance for a pull back?
As always, your work and updates are highly appreciated - thank you.
And how many hours do you actually spend working on TA with bitcoin? On a daily/weekly basis

Because there are a lot of bullshit around this trough internet. It's hard to find the grain among such amount of scams.
I'm not talking just about BTC, but ASE, WTI, and others. The only fail was, if i remember well, Silver analysis. But you cut the losses quickly.
Thank you.

Could you explain here, Arbusers, where did you learn how to make those analysis?Lumberjack wrote: ↑Fri Feb 16, 2024 7:40 amNow regards the latest upwards trend and breaking through the resistance line at 48/49k has that changed the circumstances for now?

The BTC lines are over stretched. Have a look at the following graph:
The 48K resistance line is a major one for reasons that we explained several times in this thread. This line is now broken and the next resistance line is at approximately $52300. Technically, the 52300 line is weaker than the 48.000 line, because it was tested for a shorter period of time. However, it is still a resistance line.
The higher the price goes, it creates more oversold conditions and the possibility of a pull back grows bigger. Already, on the weekly time frame we have a negative RSI divergence forming, which is stronger than the daily divergence we had with the announcement of the ETF. Thus, the possibility of a correction is now bigger than the possibility we had in January 10th.
What could go against that?
If price keeps running as it is, with a pace of approximately $800 per day, then it is matter of some days until the negative divergence is eliminated and then there will be little to no technical justification to stop a parabolic blow off top in the next weeks/months. If we see that top now, it will completely destroy the 4 year cycle and the over all idea of an October 2025 cycle top.
So to me, the dilemma is: A quick but not calculated profit now, or a calculated profit in 2025?
I welcome both scenarios, but clearly I prefer the later. Because in my head I have a very concrete scenario about the global economy and developments. Upon that scenario I built a choreography of action that will make me an extremely wealthy person in the next years, when most of the people around me will only get poorer. I hope this doesn't sound bad, but I can't polish it in any better way. For this reason a quick top in the next months will only bring anxiety, as I will be in uncharted waters again, and I will have to figure out what the heck is going on.
I can't quantify the hours, but investing is my main focus these last years.

It will require a very long post to talk about my learning process so let's skip it for now.
Indeed there is a lot of BS in internet, but to be sincere, there will always be some gems around. You can always use the BS to understand the market sentiment and then act like a contrarian. You could watch closely the cheerleaders and then do the opposite of what they say.
Yes, Silver was not a good one. I always remember $Shell for the timing of buying, even though the exit was a quick one.

Just a QUICK REMINDER!!
Blackrock, Fidelty etc etfs buy approx. 9,000-10,000 btc everyday. let's say 9k.
Only 900 btc mined each day.
After mid-april, only 450 btc will be mined each day.
