It depends on the bets. Are they in postponed events?

Did you know in certain places in China you can legally buy and eat all sorts of animals and creatures like bats, snakes, rats, pigs heads, frogs and even crocodiles etc! I think this corona virus is Mother Nature telling us to have some respect for animals and wildlife. Did we not learn from the sars, mers, swine flu and other similar outbreaks.

If you search google you can see pictures and read on the disregard to hygeine the way in which animals are transported and slaughtered and stacked on top of each other. It was just a matter of time before this sort of outbreak. It's not the first time and it won't be the last if it continues that there will be a global pandemic. Some parts of the world consider eating bat soup, snakes and bear paws a delicacy.

A search of google has been enlightening to say the least for me. The wet market where corona virus is said to have been originated from has been described as a "cauldron of contagion" enabling the spread of disease from animals to humans.

They are directly creating new strains of diseases for which there is no cure or vaccines. I feel so angry!

No one knows from where this virus comes from.

But i agree that humans are distorting everything in this planet, so finally, we will receive some punching back.

Now Spain declared the Alarm State. This is the first degree of three. The third one is War State, and the army will come into the streets to control everything.

It's incredible to see Madrid absolutely alone. No people in the street. And....., there is nothing outside. No enemies, no bombs, no fire, no nothing...., just animals are not scared outside. Just Nature are not scared....

I think that every country that don't control the propagation of this virus at the very first steps, will go in the same way than China, Italy, and Spain.

And after that, the only way to control it, will be the absolutely quarantine. Exactly like Wuhan.

About the people that says: With hot temperatures, the virus will remit, just take a look in all the countries that have 30 degrees and cases are just growing up.

Wouldn't like to panic, but governments around the world do, so I'd say it's time to ask a valid question in this time, concerning all of us:
What about funds safety?  Have you withdrawn?

I got some at 2 agents (Aconnect and Betinasia) and some offshores - Betonline, 5dimes...
There is really almost nothing to bet on (UFC, some boxing, rugby, some South American, Russian, Turkish soccer (Hungary, Serbia also, but I expect them to suspend in the near future, too) and Russian hockey. That's about it!
I suppose most of people will withdraw now. Offshores got poker and casino, they should manage if they attract people to that. But what about agents? Will they be able to manage this (it could last at least a month)?

On the other hand, poker tables are superjuicy at this moment!

It is a fact that betting action is reduced to all-time lows. Many people see no reason for keeping funds in bookmakers and agents for no reason. This money doesn't produce any wealth. Combine this with the uncertainties that Covid19 brought. Many people would prefer to keep their money as close as they can in these times.
I spoke with some agents yesterday and they confirmed there is a wave of withdrawals as we speak for the above-mentioned reasons. Saying anything different than this would be a lie.
I am sure that people who make money from sports betting are now withdrawing. In addition, I can see the commissions generated from Skrill and Neteller from our members. They indicate the same. Betting activities are severely reduced.
At the same time, casino action is not under the same crisis, as you can play roulette like before.

After thinking about it, I decided not to withdraw.
Both agents provided excellent service for me, with great customer support, if my balance can help a little bit in this times, supporting employee wages and other expenses, I'm in. It's an amount I could afford to lose, anyway.

I still think all of this is way overblown and everybody overreacted. In the end, Russia will laugh at all of us for being the only one handling this situation rationally.

It's not overblown. It's dangerous to the elderly especially if they have underlying health conditions. Read somewhere it can be fatal to 15% of over 80's who catch it and 8% of over 70's. If you have elderly parents or relatives it is worrying times.

WHO says the coronavirus fatality rate is 3.4%. What would happen if a virus emerged as contagious as this one but with a high fatality rate like Ebola. That would be scary times!

China has permanently banned the trade and consumption of wild animals. But they haven't banned their use elsewhere, such as in medicine which it needs to do.

https://edition.cnn.com/2020/03/05/asia ... index.html

"... ending the trade will be hard. The cultural roots of China's use of wild animals run deep, not just for food but also for traditional medicine, clothing, ornaments and even pets."

Coronavirus: Postponed football matches league-by-league so far:

Corona pandemic not only affected social and corporate life but also massively impacted sports, and soccer is on the same line. If you are a big soccer fan or a puter always loves to stay up to date with football news, leagues and matches, you might already know how it impacted the sport already. It hits the game so bad that to a football fanatic, everything looks like a total disaster. Games are on the verge of either postpone or pounding on the empty arena.

Here is a brief of postponed football matches, leagues, and events due to corona outbreak:
Champions League, La Liga, Premier League, Serie A, Ligue 1, Bundesliga, Europa League, internationals and many more affected.
Champions League:
UEFA canceled next week’s Champions League matches.

La Liga:
All La Liga matches canceled for the next two matchdays - up to April 5 due to #Covid_19.
Copa del Rey final between Real Sociedad and Athletic Bilbao also postponed which was scheduled on April 18.

Premier League:
The Premier League and the English Football League Championship have postponed all of their matches until April 3 at the earliest due to the outbreak of coronavirus.

Serie A:
The most popular Italian football competition Seria A until April 3 at the earliest. Italy is the most affected country in Europe where the number of death exceeds thousands. Earlier the weekend, Italy's sports minister Vincenzo Spadafora referred Serie A as irresponsible for not postponing the event because of the outbreak. And, obviously, it makes no sense to continue playing when the whole nation is in such crisis.

League 1:
French football leagues League 1 and League 2 postponed till April 15. French League Cup final between Lyon and Paris Saint Germain on April 4 also postponed.

Bundesliga:
German professional football league, Bundesliga suspended all of their matches including this weekend’s matches until April 2.

Europa League:
UEFA suspended all Europa Lague matches alongside the Champions League.

That’s not all. Football all across Europe are all at the closed door.
All the domestic football matches suspended in Denmark until March 29.
Ukraine Premier League postponed their matches until April 3.
Czech Football Association suspended all football schedules until further notice.
Premier Liga in Portugal has been postponed.
Swiss Football League has been postponed until March 23.

International:
Some of the international matches during March also postponed due to the outbreak such as:

26-03-2020
Estonia vs New Caledonia
Netherland vs USA
Croatia vs Switzerland

27-03-2020
Belgium vs Portugal

29-03-2020
The Netherlands vs Spain

30-03-2020
Portugal vs Croatia
Switzerland vs Belgium
Portugal vs Croatia
Wales vs USA

31-03-2020
Estonia vs Lithuania
In love with statisticsports.com to track all the matches!

This is a Potemkin Village.*

*In politics and economics, a Potemkin village is any construction (literal or figurative) whose sole purpose is to provide an external façade to a country which is faring poorly, making people believe that the country is faring better, although statistics and charts would state otherwise.

Of course it's a risk.

The lack of action could impact the agent's financial health.

Alternatively, you could die of the virus - can your next of kin get access to the funds?

Agent's could have a windfall here if some clients die of the virus and their funds consequently never reclaimed because their next of kin know nothing about the account.

I don't know... They don't sell investment stocks so money should not go anywhere, of course they are having no action now but it's still not their money.

It's like if your bank now calls you and tells you that your money is gone.
If people die, from what I know my agent charges monthly fees on your balance after periods of inactivity, so after three months they'll start gaining free money.

By the way, I might start thinking at it as a risk.
I guess we'll see how serious these agents are (so far I didn't get any communications from them).
