No question about it, the more championships returning back to action, the more work (and profits) we will have. But at the same time, it is self-evident that we already lost a lot of potential profits from the abrupt end of a number of championships like Euroleague and Eredevisie to name some.

Re: Covid19 and betting
Ive got to say im loving the time off. 2 months of proper relaxing, and the weather has been really good too.
Looks like things will gradually be starting back up in the next month or 2 in the UK, and people are finally beginning to understand just how overhyped covid is, and realising the chance of dying if you are under 60 and reasonably healthy is tiny, comparable to the risk of dying driving 200 miles.

I am just wondering how these clubs will manage without spectators, How can they finance the club and pay the huge players fees. Would we be seeing alot of match fixing or what to expect?

Teams of lower leagues will have to struggle to survive as TV rights are not there for them. These teams will look for unorthodox solutions.
Re: Covid19 and betting
That is a good question. There is no question, this is a total mess. Many teams used clauses and asterisks in their contracts with players to reduce payrolls. At the same time, they are hoping to negotiate better deals with cable TVs.jagas wrote: I am just wondering how these clubs will manage without spectators, How can they finance the club and pay the huge players fees. Re: Covid19 and betting
Royal Ascot to be held 16th to 20th of June. It is expected that the UK will be fully operational betting wise at June the 15th.
Is it a coincidence really? Betting shops closed right after Cheltenham, to open right before Royal Ascot. It makes me wonder.
755 out of 814 betting shops in Ireland, will open doors on June the 29th, media reports.

Now my heart attacks are slowing down.
I wanted to ask also, if they reduce the population of the fan from 100 percent to about 30 percent and maybe increase ticket price, wont it help?
