hi all, till now i was a loyal reader, now i registered at the forum especially to address the situation of bonus confiscation at gobetgo. today i recieved a mail similar to what Hoppy got - saying they confiscate 33% of my balance due to suspicious betting patterns and bonus abuse, without any further explanation..

the only "suspicious betting pattern" might be in my opinion betting on all three 1 x 2 markets for an event (bets on win1/draw/win2) which obviously generated a loss for me but indeed helped to meet rollover conditions.

your thoughts on this?

You are not allowed to do that when you have a bonus. 

i did that back in the days rolling over my bet365 bonus, they had nothing against it.. aw fuck it the loss isn't that much really and i can finally move rest of the money from gobetgo elsewhere. i'll make it up!

When a bookie say "we don't like sharps taking bonus". You think it's the same as saying if you do that we will take 33% of all your winnings? NO bookie likes a sharp taking the bonus??

GoBetGo confiscated not only the 50 euro bonus, but several hundreds % more than the 50 euro bonus. And you side with them? I was just waiting for someone to say, "you had it coming". It's the common tone in this forum, and it stops people from sharing this kind of thing.

More clarity about the 33% could have been appropriate from GoBetGo. This is the type of clarity we are asking from PremiumTrading in the other thread, for instance, and for a reason.

I'm sure my warning will help a lot of people who didn't know what they were about to risk.

they are out of order and obviously crooks, they are stealing people's money, they come on arbusers boasting
about taking and paying out large bets implying they are a "very big player" well they are not, they cannot be
trusted, just now they are stealing "bonus abusers?" money, whose money will they steal next? many people
lost lots of money with Canbet, could they be another Canbet? is it worth the risk using such a bookmaker?
personally I think they are too risky and today's news is scary for people who already arb with them, as I said

Why a hell You support and play in SHIT books !? I dont belive that ppl are so stupid (or greed) not to think that great odds on weak lines and realibility DO NOT COME IN PAIR.

I don't see any balance on your account, and I see 2 successful withdrawals in the past few days.

To everyone who takes bonuses, please do not try to cheat us. Betting on all outcomes to complete rollover is not only not allowed, but it clearly shows abuse intent. Same goes for arbing with the bonus. We have 1% margins, and we give 50% bonus. Arbing the bonus is clearly abusing the bonus system to rollover the bonus. Receiving bonuses under multiple accounts is also forbidden, not just by us, but by ANY bookmaker on the planet. Lastly, there are particular betting patterns used by bonus hunters which we look for, when cancelling bonuses.

Do not forget our bonuses are for recreational players, when we see any of the above happening, we will cancel them together with whatever is accumulated with them. If for instance you place a bet of 150 (100+50 bonus..33% bonus funds), and you win 450 euro. And if we cancel the bonus, we will deduct 150 euro, as that's proportionally what you have won with the bonus. We don't see anything unfair in this practice.

this should just simply result in the amount not counting towards rollover requirements. confiscating money based solely on this seems overreaction to me.

really, that's not unfair? what if you are a gambler looking for value? and make the same type of bet, you will steal their money
from them, and that's not unfair? THAT IS THEFT, if you are so smart at finding abusers of your bonus then cancel their bet
as soon as they place it, not wait for the outcome and steal their winnings if they win, you continually come on to Arbusers and claim you are a big player but your actions on this matter clearly prove you are not, theft is theft no matter how you paint it, you are thieves you have stolen people's money, prove you are a "big player" return the stolen money.

for the record I have never had an account with Gobetgo, got paid a large 4 figure sum by Canbet only days before they stopped payments, Gobetgo needs arbers, why? because 100 arbers depositing £10k gives them £1,000,000 to play with,
money to help fund their business, same idea as Canbet with their large deposit bonuses, well I never took a penny of canbet bonuses and still nearly lost £k's, your recent actions Gobetgo will encourage zero arbers to join you.

We are not confiscating money, we are cancelling the bonus and the winnings form the particular bonus. The part of winnings which is achieved with real money, remains in the account. In case anyone disagrees with such practices, they should not take bonuses in the first place. We have not invented this practice ourselves, we have adopted it from the leaders in the industry, which I am sure, would do exactly the same if they caught a bonus hunter on their website.

Books are nothing more to arbers than cash milkin cows. But even greatest cow is worthles when it is dead. I  realy wish You to stay on market long enough like others and not do a Canbet spectacular belly up style.

I have an advice, avoid this 'new-not-very-trustable-sites', it will not have a happy ending.

Seriously, avoid them.

Both are scam from Curacao, so be clever and reduce your risk
