I live in the UK and was curious to know whether (hypothetically), bookmakers have the ability to 'track' mobile phones in the way they can with computer IP addresses?
Example: I use my mobile phone (not on broadband, just using 3G) and login to my Ladbrokes account for example. If I then use the same mobile phone to login to (say) a friend's account on Ladbrokes - are they able to know that it is the same mobile phone logging into multiple accounts?
This is of course all hypothetical and I am not promoting using multiple accounts.

Cookies are stored in mobile phones also, so both of you guys will end up in a Lad's black list.

But if you clean cookies with something like CCleaner and then put phone on aeroplane mode for 10 seconds to ensure you get new IP add from your 3G provider I think you are ok?

Is there any Cleaner for mobile phones.
Whenever I clean cookies and history in my smartphone, I always see traces of the previous use.

you need to check the IP if it changes, it varies from one service provider to the other

It's this thing you can find on "the internet" where you can search for simple things and are able to find answers to simple questions all by yourself. It works way faster than asking those same questions to others.

some networks dont change. It is usually small companies, renting lines of a bigger one.
For example, i was using company X, that uses the network of big company Y. No matter how many times i reset, i could only get 1 ip, maybe one mroe with just the last digit increased by 1

also every cell phone has a device number. apps are able to see this device number. therefore never use apps provided by the bookies, only access them through browser, because they can't see the device number through the browser.

Upon installing apps, one of the conditions in android is exact gps location, perhaps this is a standard thing for all apps and not necessarily accessible, but if it is it almost certainly not a recommended course of action to use apps.

Re: Tracking Mobile Phones?
Phones have MAC Address which can be seen by the bookies so no matter if you change the IP they can see that it's the same phone.
Here's an idea for you: Clean your computers' cookies and everything, change it's MAC address, make your phone a WIFI hotspot and connect your computer to that hotspot.
This way you can easily change your IP and stay safe all the time. GL!
