Moplay.co.uk
Could someone comment on Moplay? This is a very new bookmaker in the UK and there must be some value. I see they offer a very limited number of Markets but how about the odds and the limits they offer?

Re: Moplay.co.uk
They're in "soft launch" mode as far as I know, meaning they're not advertising anywhere. They're a little jumpy and are looking at each new registration through a magnifying glass. My UK account was instalocked after registration and reopened only after ID copies sending.

"Do NOT use moplay.co.uk until further notice. They have now blocked my account and access to my balance for 'security reasons'. Am currently trying to sort out what the problem is, but for the moment they should be regarded as dubious and should be avoided. Will post an update in due course.
Update: not good at all. Tried to escalate this issue to their complaints dept and my email was returned as undelivered (their email address does not exist) - draw your own conclusions. "

Gibraltar’s Gambling Licensing Authority (GLA) suspended MoPlay's license on solvency issues.
MoPlay's primary shareholder is Addison Global, founded in 2017 by former William Hill executive.
A Gibraltar government statement highlighted that..''It is most disappointing that the promised financial support from the shareholder has failed to materialize as the firm has not received the financial support it was projected to receive when first licensed.''

After the suspension of its operator license, Addison Global’s MoPlay bookmaker confirmed that the business is now insolvent and subsequently has halted customer withdrawals.
Too bad.

Re: Moplay.co.uk
Here are the recent developments with Moplay, I m sure you ll find them very interesting and will give you a general idea of how the gambling market operates.
UK bookmaker Betfred bought MoPlay’s customer list from a liquidator in Gibraltar. Some 180,000 MoPlay accounts have been migrated to BetFred according to media. However, it seems that accounts operating in profit for the account owners were ''lost in transition''. These accounts appear to be restricted from Moplay or Betfred.
A Betfred spokesman claims that: ''We did not conduct any due diligence on the profitability of individuals in the MoPlay customer database nor did we close any BetFred accounts to prevent migration of MoPlay balances. For those customers who did not migrate, we are directing them to the liquidator to submit a claim in the liquidation.''
It is a logical assumption that Betfred bought only mug player's accounts, leaving outside the deal accounts that would operate in profit for the clients.

Re: Moplay.co.uk
According to the Guardian, the Gambling Commission allows operators to choose the level of protection – high, medium or not protected – afforded to deposits in the event of a firm going bust. MoPlay opted for the lowest level of protection.
It is very difficult, even unimaginable for some players to conduct proper due diligence for a bookmaker taking into account the level of protection.
