Hello guys i really want to know what pc specs other arbers have because i feel obsolete and maybe i need upgrade. Some bookies are loading too slow(orbit),but i am sure that their page is slow, not my pc.Anyway,
1)Which specs your pc has in order to valuebet, arb, trade(cpu, ram)?
2)How much speed internet connection do you have?
I will start with my own specs(of course i need upgrade)
1)cpu:amd fx 6100,ram:16 ddr3
2)50mbs

Re: Specs of your pc
I use several devices (3,4 GHz, 8GB the middle one) and a couple of connections (from 5 to 50 Mbps, it depends) but I have the sensation that 2 are the most important factors: ping and the bookmaker site itself no matter what the download connection speed is.
For instance we have a group of bookies that need like 25-30 seconds to charge the site, login and place the bet...sooo annoying even if my connection is good.

I really don't know.
But my pc costs 2.5k euros.
About the speed allways the faster.
1000mgb for me, and never via wifi, allways with cable.

Re: Specs of your pc
Intel I5 3.3ghz, 16GB DDR 3 Ram, MSI mainboard with SATA hard drive and 2 older ATA drives for storage. All pretty standard. 5 monitors though. I upgrade a component every year or 2. The case is actually from 2001.

Mine is 50mbps which is not the best of course. Also the distance from the server has impact(for example betfair server).
What about upload speed?I think it also has an impact.
Re: Specs of your pc
Yes,ping maybe is the second most important factor(after site speed).People with better internet connections have an edge.alealeale wrote: I use several devices (3,4 GHz, 8GB the middle one) and a couple of connections (from 5 to 50 Mbps, it depends) but I have the sensation that 2 are the most important factors: ping and the bookmaker site itself no matter what the download connection speed is.
