Maybe I am late for the party, but does it really worth it to start no risk matched betting and smart gambling in general now?
I understand the general concept and the mathematics of smart gambling. I understand matched betting, arbing and value betting very well. Matched betting might be the easiest choice for me as I would strictly follow a service massively. Any opinions welcome.
And of course, a huge thank you for this community. The value of this forum is simply unbelievable.

Re: No risk matched betting
Golden Age of arbing is certainly gone, but value betting is still going strong. Ask yourself if you have passion for betting and sports in general or you would be into this thing simply for the money. If it is the latter you should look for alternatives. Smart gambling looks easy at first glance, but I assure you that it's not an easy way to earn money.

For first you need some small money and not much time to generate small additional income (until music plays)
For second you do need some passion because music changes constantly and in order to stay ahead, you need to learn new dancing moves.
As for being late, well if you are not first then you are second (late). Still money to be made but with different price tag(more time).
If i were you, i would just do matched betting as long as i can and then save up the profits and do something else. After all its just a bonus money

If you want side income, do matched betting. If you want a hobby(hustle and long days) which u can turn into a career then do arbing/value betting etc.B_arber wrote: Maybe I am late for the party, but does it really worth it to start no risk matched betting and smart gambling in general now?

Re: No risk matched betting
As correctly said above, matched betting will give you a nice side profit, but you will never consider it as the real thing, or a full time job.
This life style betting is perfectly fine, absolutely fine. But if you are looking for a scalable business, something that potentially that could change your life, you should be looking at something more serious.
The good all days of arbing are long time gone. Arbing can only be used for educational reasons, but you could use matched betting too to educate your self. On the other hand, value betting is gaining momentum and it seems to me that bookmakers are still not able to purge it. There might be some good years in front of us with value betting. To sum up, I would suggest to have a look at value betting, while keep having that side profits from value betting.
What ever you do, good luck with it.

Re: No risk matched betting
Thank you all for your answers. Much appreciated.
Once again, a big thank you to this lovely community.
After reading the forum I came to the conclusion there are 2 types of value betting. Pre game and in play. More or less these are the types of arbing too. I am sure live value betting is more difficult than pre game. So which one would you suggest, and why?arbusers wrote: value betting is gaining momentum and it seems to me that bookmakers are still not able to purge it. Plus side with live valuebetting is that its harder to detect from bookmakers. Minus is stated above.
With pre match easier for bookmakers to detect but also easier to implement from the bettors side.
Unfortunately cant really suggest anything. If you had an access to live valuebetting software/scanner then go with live but if not i would personally go with pre match myself...
Re: No risk matched betting
Live value betting is not harder per se just harder to evaluate if the odds you take have value or not. Pre match is easy. Try to get highest odds possible and you should be fine (aka beating the closing line of whatever bookie you think is the sharpest).B_arber wrote: Thank you all for your answers. Much appreciated.

Just to make good money on matching bets, you need an unlimited number of new accounts.

Re: No risk matched betting
@B_arber If you are new to arbing/value betting go with pre-match, in-play value betting can make you lose a lot of money if you don't do it properly.

You are absolutely right. Matched betting is only for educational purposes before jumping to more serious forms of betting.peny22 wrote: Just to make good money on matching bets, you need an unlimited number of new accounts.

Re: No risk matched betting
I remember calling Arbing for educational reasons. Now education is downgraded to Matched betting. Seems like the difference between an MBA and kindergarten.

Re: No risk matched betting
Βecause i don't know much about matched betting ,how much money nowadays can anyone make with free bets from one account in a year ? I know that depends on each bookmaker promotions but an average i want to know. Also if you can access more than one account in same bookmaker and you can find 3-4 books with big number of free bets , can you nowadays make money for a living or not with match betting?

Re: No risk matched betting
It largely depends on where you come from as each country receives different incentives from various bookmakers. Name your country and probably someone will answer.
Also, it is my view that matched betting is not enough to bring bacon at home unless you abuse things massively.
