Re: Matchbook introduce increased commission and premium charges
I have to disagree with that. The reports that I get are showing that some agents will stop offering Matchbook accounts in the coming days. Those who will continue offering Matchbook accounts will have to carry significant risks. Sharp and massive action will multiply these risks, we have seen this in the past.Alfa1234 wrote: There are some unconfirmed reports agent accounts will not be affected.

I received confirmation from PT that no changes will happen and their accounts are not subject to the Matchbook PC.

Considering MB themselves said they would never implement a premium charge, I wouldn't bet on that!!Alfa1234 wrote: I received confirmation from PT that no changes will happen and their accounts are not subject to the Matchbook PC.

Re: Matchbook introduce increased commission and premium charges
Are you implying the agent can't be trusted on their word? I have never had a reason to doubt anything they say and they have acted in a 100% trustworthy and professional manner in the years I've been their client.dealer wins wrote:Considering MB themselves said they would never implement a premium charge, I wouldn't bet on that!!Alfa1234 wrote: I received confirmation from PT that no changes will happen and their accounts are not subject to the Matchbook PC.

Re: Matchbook introduce increased commission and premium charges
As soon as you have this sort of commission structure, anon accounts are always going to be a problem.
Have heard all sorts of rumours about Betfair wrt PC, trying to persuade agents to hand over player IDs.

Re: Matchbook introduce increased commission and premium charges
"In this user's case, he placed several bets on both the Back and Lay result for F Krajinovic.
Each of these bets were charged their respective commission rate. Commission is not charged on the final payout.
Due to the backing and laying of each result on the same selection, the user was attempting to minimise their losses on the bet, but did not take the commission charge on each bet into consideration when calculating this."
This is from matchbook reply.
Do you belive this ?

So standard 1% on each bet? That's nothing new.Bastard wrote: "In this user's case, he placed several bets on both the Back and Lay result for F Krajinovic.

Re: Matchbook introduce increased commission and premium charges
Surely you are intelligent enough to know their commission system? It's been like that forever. You pay commission on every stake. You could be trading all day and green up, while making a big loss there. Not the agent's fault, your fault.Bastard wrote: Do you work for matchbook

Re: Matchbook introduce increased commission and premium charges
They charge commission on each bet, not the net market position at the end of the game. You should know this as an arber, even if its your first day!Bastard wrote: Do you work for matchbook

I'm dissapointed of them, i was hopeful they will get big progress and become a realy competitive to BF, but now I can see it was surely gullible. shame.
