Like i said it seems like bad situation for Sbobet.
They wont attract higher stakers anymore (limits, odds) and it was never bookie that was popular
among casual players like bet365 for example. And like someone above said gambling regulations
likely made them lose some punters that arent that sharp.
In near future It will be hard to find reason why would you choose to put your money there

unlike other bookmakers who are basically copycats and best they can do is limit you.
In theory this shoudnt hurt them,it should make their odds even sharper early,am i right?

Their model is not easy to compromise. And it seems that they have capable people there, they study what players do and adjust fastarbusers wrote:All I m saying is that more sharp action will be channeled to Pinnacle. Re: My SBObet's max limit suddenly been reduced.
Don't know if their odds will be more sharp.
What is obvious though is that their business model no longer depends on volume (same applies for all asians/pinnacle). Even if you register directly with them, limits are the same (pinnacle for example is diferrent story for now). They simply don't want volume from Europeans in many categories.
What i would like to know is if limits differ for some countries, especially asian countries. If limits are bigger for asians, then it makes sense why they force agents to take 80% position. They only want to sharpen their odds without cost.

Re: My SBObet's max limit suddenly been reduced.
Another void after two whole days from the bet, luckily several hours before the match beginning.
Original odds in line with the market @2,19.
Odd value at the moment of void: 1,95.
Lost just few euros to replace the bet.
I keep using Sbobet because pros are still bigger than cons but they are really really ridiculous and
unfair, when I saw they had voided my bet @2,19 I was sure that the current odds were lower.
So...48 hours for Sbobet to realized that there was something "wrong" in that price...no way!

You were lucky to be given time to react. This could happen minutes before kickoff.
Did they send you an e-mail alerting you about the void?

When Sbobet void a direct customer bet, yes, I remember they send an email.
The problem is the matter of the void and the timing (always when the market is dropped.

During these last months I'm using an agent, so no email at all...arbusers wrote: You were lucky to be given time to react. This could happen minutes before kickoff.

Re: My SBObet's max limit suddenly been reduced.
Another void after 9 days from the original bet! Today at 3pm and this time I was driving so I couldn't realize it to cover again...lost not a big amount but what a joke!
Unbelievable.
Why do they wait for so long to decide to void? If there was something wrong in taking the bet, the matter should have been found immediately (pulp, wrong price, weird odds movement...anything they want). 9 days later and only 3 hours before the match start is just a spite.

Sbobet also void bets in big soccer leagues (in this case German Bundesliga 1) now, 11 hours after bet placement.
Sbobet is just another singbet now

Re: My SBObet's max limit suddenly been reduced.
After several months, it seems that on my Sbobet account odds are the same of Betburger and BOV, no more 0,2 less (at least on live). Is it possible they deleted that penalty? Have anyone noticed the same? Thanks.

Same here. Also double limits as well. Still joke limits though.alealeale wrote: After several months, it seems that on my Sbobet account odds are the same of Betburger and BOV, no more 0,2 less (at least on live). Is it possible they deleted that penalty? Have anyone noticed the same? Thanks.

Anyway, I'm satisfied for odds. One step at a time, maybe things will change also for limits.apoel81 wrote:Same here. Also double limits as well. Still joke limits though.

Re: My SBObet's max limit suddenly been reduced.
My prematch odds used to be 0.02 lower , now they are 0.03 lower.
Bayern vs Frankfurt : When i logg in i get 1.93-1.87 on asian handicap -2 , while it is 1.96-1.90 logged out.
Will check later inplay limits since there are no inplay events right now.

I'm checking prematch as well and odds are the same, both I'm logged in and not, I can't understand
if they do differences among customers or not.
