Re: Neteller apply fees for transfers
I have read this in their site: "The only conditions are that you\\'re at least 18 years old and have a residential address in Germany or Austria. "
So can register only people from Austria and Germany?

Re: Neteller apply fees for transfers
How would using Number26 be beneficial? Are they now a method for withdrawing and depositing with books?

Annual stamp duty charge of €5 for Irish residents, other than that all transactions are free.
Looter mentioned it to save fees from neteller ATM withdrawals

Re: Neteller apply fees for transfers
I don't think so, cause it's just like a normal bank and you will be withdrawing to a german IBAN account number. Some bookies would like you to withdraw to a bank account in your country of registration (and not Germany).Skaggerak wrote: Could it be used as a complete alternative to ewallets?

Re: Neteller apply fees for transfers
It'd be pretty handy if there was a way to find out which bookies would accept or not. It would seem pretty unfair, maybe even borderline illegal for them to accept a deposit via it but not accept withdrawals. Plenty of people reside in a different country to where their bank account is these days.

Germany is not a gambling friendly country and bank accounts are not exactly the best options for a pro gambler.

Also, whilst bank accounts might not be the best options as you stated, on the plus side they're a better method for funding in terms of longevity. I suppose the fact that I'm wanting to find more info on this shows how small I am compared to some in here who wouldn't dare use this function. Maybe I'm just naive or stupid and am in line for a shock but I can't see myself exactly where that would lie.
Re: Neteller apply fees for transfers
I don't know much about Germanys relationship with online gaming right now but I don't understand how it would affect a person residing in a different country who has online accounts. I know a German Iban was mentioned earlier but that in itself does not explain to me why it would be rejected, especially when this new form of banking has a lot of potential to spread around Europe.Arbusers wrote: Germany is not a gambling friendly country and bank accounts are not exactly the best options for a pro gambler.

An issue with ATM withdrawals could be the daily limits as they could be much lower than those of Skrill/NET.
Re: Neteller apply fees for transfers
It does affect even a resident of a different country. For example cards issued by a German bank cannot be used for gambling. There could be other restrictions too. Perhaps the account could be used for wiring funds to agents.Skaggerak wrote:I don't know much about Germanys relationship with online gaming right now but I don't understand how it would affect a person residing in a different country who has online accounts.
