Re: 10% commision on horse racing
SP is starting price. Not betfair sp. Uk horse starting price.
I will get 10% cash back for every bet i make. But they pay me uk racing sp.
As example, i bet 100 usd with sp odd of 3.00.
I will get 10 usd as my commision and if win, i will get 300 usd and 10 usd.
If lost, i will get 10 usd commision.
But , when i get SP odd of 3.00, betfair SP is around 3.25 to 3.4.
Is there anyway to make profit please.

Re: 10% commision on horse racing
that's an amazing opportunity, since probably 95% of UK horse bettors bet with a bookie and merely get the SP, with no rebate. A 10% rebate allowed Bill Benter and Alan Woods to make millions in Hong Kong. However, it still required the genius of Benter to come up with a handicapping program containing dozens of factors to overcome the 18% track take (less the rebate).
Down at the lowest favorites (paying like 1.4) there's often little difference between the SP, BSP, and the UK Tote price. In some cases the SP is even higher than the BSP, it gets so precise down at those super favorite levels. But in general as you noted, the BSP is going to be higher than the SP by around 10-14%, often more when the odds are in the 7 - 10 range.

Very interesting opinion from you.
I'm under the impression, that William Benter's story has something undisclosed, otherwise, he would not have given up the profitable horse racing.
By the way, I'm looking to access the HKJC markets (I'm outside Hong Kong territory) despite their big margins.
In my opinion, there are a lot of very interesting patterns there.

Re: 10% commision on horse racing
Benter made millions (but nowhere near a billion as the exaggerating YT videos say), and probably tired of the 'same old same old' every day. He's an academic, not a gambler like Woods or others. I could see him getting tired of it. Plus winning the Triple Trio and not cashing it certainly says something.

Re: 10% commision on horse racing
I would be happy to give 10 percent of my monthly profit to any agent who can offer me a normal Betfair account.
But nobody wants that.
Betinasia blocked me on the first day when I hit odds of 29 on Black platform. I bet a whole 2 EUR on that horse, and they accused me for fund passing.
I will write up the whole case in the coming days.

The agent itself or the counterparty that accepted your market position through the platform?

They said Orbit, but they also refused to give me account history. That horse was traded at even higher odds after my bet. But the problem is that they noticed sharp action, I deposited only 60 eur( with credit card on my name, I am very stupid fund passer:-)), I had about 30 bets, all for 2-3 Eur. I was in profit 30 Eur after that win, and they blocked my account

I don't care about the 90 euros they took from me; that's not a lot of money. I'm just interested in what explanation they'll give for blocking me. By the way, I posted about this here before, but the admin deleted it because I was a new member (it was my bad)

thats why I said in in the thread that I opened earlier, that you should record your screen (if you have time and desire to do so) and if one day you face similar issue you will have serious evidence against their decision

Yes, I am taking screenshoots all the time on my other accounts (I can't record because I don't want to show my edge, I have my own PP-s for horses and more). I didn't captured this because I had only bet small ammounts to test the platform.
