You should buy some artwork. I bought a Van Gogh painting earlier this year for approximately $70 million USD. It is a much better investment.

Cases are going up everyday. And Deaths as well.
Even if we are fully vaccinated. New variant Ómicron doesn't give a fuck about vaccines. I believe that we have some possibilities to come back again to March 2020. i took the decision to stay in house again and see what is going on, i have bad feelings...
What's your opinion guys?
Pd: in the case of a new lockdown, we could bet against SP500.

Don't take this to the bank. We have seen that after March the 13th 2020, it is the FED that drives the S&P, and not the virus. Investors were divided to those who understand what the FED is doing, and those who do not understand it. The prior made money.CharlieSheen99 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 17, 2021 10:05 pmPd: in the case of a new lockdown, we could bet against SP500.

Buy the dip. This is the correct answer.Noone knows the dip but in the long run you will have gains. If someone has a lot of cash and if this sell off continues,it is good to enter the market.Anyway we see crazy things, microsoft announces crazy earnings and the stock price fall.Lots of people say that this is manupilation, maybe they are correct.I personally really lost a lot of money from this downtrend but i try to send money in order not to have margin problem.Maybe in the next few days buy some big names if this sell off continue.

My personal opinion is that we we will not see more than 20-25/100 down.

This week is more stable for Spy.We hope too see some gains in the next days.A little stressful week for investors. We lose all profits of the last 6 months.Maybe for those that have cash there are some small buying opportunities.

It seems that Warrent Buffet knows the market really well after all these years and keep berkshire stock safe.
The tech sell of do not even have an impact on berkshire stock. This shows to us how much safer is Berkshire compared to spy on a bear market.

I recall an interview with Jeremy Grantham who said they will first go for Russell 2000, then the smaller companies of Nasdaq and in the end they will take down the Ciscos.
Where are we right now?

Russell got took down, then Nasdaq got beat down and now sap 500 is down. Federer is in a difficult place and can no longer prop markets up with money printing as they need to control inflation. Things could get very ugly. A recession is coming.

Re: S&P500 value zones identified
USA inflation not really coming down. Fed will have to put interest rates up to a high 4 or 5% over the coming months. That will bring about a recession and crash the sap 500 to perhaps a low of around 3000.
Make sure you have some spare funds to buy if a big crash like that materialises. I am going to dynamic dollar cost average in to the market over the next 1+ year.
Anybody good at picking individual business/stocks? What ones will be good to buy. I am thinking to buy financial sector etf aswell.
Going to be very interesting to see what happens because Fed doesn't have the option to keep printing money now as they would cause even more inflation.

I've no idea. We need the Russia and Ukraine war to stop but it seems to be prolonged. Finland wants to join NATO which is going to make matters worse. Parts of China are in another lockdown. Economic outlook isn't too good at all. Most stocks and shares are still going down.
