I've has a think about this and read a bit about it and I am not as concerned as I was initially and agree with Sportoboy's sentiments, for Darren Woods it was a "perfect storm" against him, he was rumbled by a millionaire poker player, who got
together with other millionaire poker players who made a detailed and thorough case against Woods and sent it to 888poker,
who acted upon it and brought in other bookmakers and Skrill so it quickly snowballed into a "big deal" involving many parties,
Woods did not have a leg to stand on.
No arber, certainly not me will ever be up to their neck in it as Woods was, if a bookmaker suspects us of arbing he limits
our account or closes it sometimes but to prove and prosecute "multi accounting" would involve a massive amount of effort
and involve many others only for any proof to be minimal, the bookmakers does not have the time and money to pursue
arbers for "possible" mulit accounting, if it weren't for the millionaire poker players who ganged up on Woods he'd still
be doing it now, the bookmakers got this one "on a plate" that is the only reason there is a prosecution.

Re: The Darren Woods case
A case of a non bonus abuser in court would create too much bad publicity for the bookmaker as it would expose their tactic of not allowing winners.
Unlike poker, opening a new account doesn't offer you a unfair advantage over others as you are still getting the same limits and odds. It can't be argued you are causing financial loss to others except to the bookmaker of course, but isn't that the purpose?
If the bookie won it would look like they must win the player's money no matter what. If not through their bets then in court. Not really such a great publicity for the bookmaker.

Re: The Darren Woods case
The thing is that such a case would bring bad publicity to the bookmaker, but on the other hand will stop bad traffic.

The air ''I dont care'' is part of Betfair's central planning, that costs them the drop of their volumes to a large extend.
In addition, this air, is not allowing them to thing about suggestions about win-win situations for everyone. Betfair, affiliates, players.
When they wake up, they will see Matchbook with binoculars.
