These last months a number of bettors reported unauthorised access to their exchange accounts (Orbit) that was followed by loss of funds in Cricket games. None of our referred members reported something similar, and there must be reasons for that.
We lobby hard to all agents and exchanges to adopt the 2FA for login to the accounts. Like this the only one responsible for the safety will be the account owner. We understand that some seconds will be lost and this time is crucial for smart bettors like our members, but in this case we exchange time for peace of mind.
We believe our lobbying will be succesfull.

I wish Orbit would enable 2-step authentification like betfair. And I wonder why such a reputable book like pinnacle have not enabled 2-step authentification yet

Yes, Orbit on BIA has been getting a lot of complaints recently on Betting forums.

2FA should be a basic feature on any website that deals with money. I hope Orbit + BIA enable 2FA, otherwise they'll be seen as the culprits who are enabling stealing funds from clients.

it's in their interest, it should be in the interest of any broker dealing with them and of course it's in the interest of the smart betting community. is there any downside i dont see, or why is it not happening?

I am not sure if it is good or bad to see 2FA in all bookmakers, but those who keep the bulk of our funds, (Exchanges, Pinnacle, Agents, Whitelabels) should adopt the 2FA straight away. Thank you for your support.

Among the main problems that poison the atmosphere of the entire business are:
- Fraudsters among some users (fake scammed, fund passers etc.);
- Scammers - fake bookmakers/brokerages.
- Even one problematic person on the staff of the legitimate bookmakers/brokerages can cause big problems for the whole enterprise and the players;
- The greediness of some legitimate brokers/bookies;
- 99% lack of real regulatory bodies to protect legitimate players and therefore the contemporary business is not OK;
- Information sites and services, advertising the fraudsters /Other web resources (e.g. some questionable "forums") that promote these scammers and silence critics.

By your appeal to promote 2FA as a mandatory step (or even an MFA), you could reduce some of the aforementioned problems caused by dark entities/players. That will be nice for the business in general, for the genuine players, agencies and brokerages.

Given that this area is purely technical, could you please post some safeguards and guides on the Arbusers Portal or here on that topic? For example, cases where the YubiKey is lost/broken, or when someone travels around the world and the time zone changes, or the Time change, e.g. Daylight Saving Time (TOTP may not match) etc.

I'm afraid not every user is very advanced in this area. What are the steps if she/he can't access their account at all through 2FA? Here I'm asking about the points of view and policies of the agents supported by the forum - those legitimate agents, by being honest and talking about potential problems and resolving them, build trust in their most valuable asset - the legitimate players.

I cannot understand one thing.
You are spending vast amount of time on this website - Orbit Exchange, to be clear. And you cannot see the difference in the "interface" between the scam and the real one. The scam website had very sharp vision with pixelized words and elements and generally the how "interface" is just one huge PNG + log in bar.
I totally can't understand how someone is getting scammed that easy.

Similarly, the difference between 9wickets and 9wicket is noticed.

There are some very shady Betfair whitelabels operating in my country and even they have 2FA activated. These are Whitelabels who only accept customers from within the country and they aren't even International.

I don't know why Orbit doesn't do it. It's only creating trust issues for them.
