I wanted to post a special message for our members, as my last post for 2022.

When we started our portal some years ago, I compiled an article about gambling psychology and how to master it. Thucydides, the greatest master of them all, taught us that human character is not changing during time. So this article will remain valid for ever.

During my almost 20 years smart betting career, I was blessed to lose money only from 1 bookmaker. It was an old Italian bookmaker called Globet confiscating my money with a void winning bet. It was a low 4 figure number that meant a lot for me at the time, as I was still in the beginning of my career and every penny counted a lot (and it still does).

I lost a lot more money from individuals that didn't honour their word. Members of our forum actually, who were given a great opportunity, decided to get away with X money when in reality they could make 1000X by continuing the ventures. Anyway, stupidity is invincible. These losses gave me a lot of lessons, and as the saying says in almost all languages of the world, ''every cloud has a silver lining''.

So these last weeks a member of our forum had his balanced confiscated from another irresponsible Russian bookmaker. During the exchange of PMs, he revealed that this confiscation resulted in damaging his holidays and the family mood among family members. It made me sad.

To make a long story short, maybe we should all rethink about some things. We position money in the correct position in our life, but it is a universal truth there are more important things in life than some money.
