Media reports, the Netherlands following the UK example to implement affordability checks as a part of a broader gambling regulation.

The Dutch parliament is expected to vote this February on recommendations to impose a compulsory monthly financial risk check on player accounts that spend over €350 (that is a loss of 11.66 Euros per day) .The limit drops down to €150 (5 Euros loss per day) on the gambling accounts of customers aged under-24.
