Hello, for a while now, I've been reading interesting posts in this forum and finally decided to sign up.
I am looking for tips on sports betting.
It's often mentioned that Austria is a good place for this, and luckily, I'm from Austria.
For a few months, value bets with soft bookies using dropping odds have been my strategy, and it has been working quite well, but the limitation comes very quickly.
At Cashpoint, i got limited after 1 week.
There's advice out there about playing the accounts down after opening it (playing negative ev bets and backing it up on pinnacle); does that really make a significant difference?
Seeing a long-term issue with being limited so fast.
Are there additional ways to pursue professional sports betting in Austria?
Receiving some tips would be greatly appreciated, and a big thank you for the many excellent contributions in this forum, from which I've already gleaned some helpful advice.

Hey, yes Austria is a good country for sports betting since earnings from sports betting are tax free.
I lived there for a while 5 years ago for that reason. You can try the cash point physical locals. Bet at home was also decent, I got limited but the limits were decent.
Aside from that the only way to make a living from sports betting long term is to bet on non -limiting bookies, pinnacle, Betfair exchange, singbet etc. or have many friends

Unfortunately, Pinnacle does not accept customers based in Austria since September 2021. Also, Betfair exchange is not available in Austria. But you can access Pinnacle's clone PS3838, as well as Betfair and other exchanges, through agents.
