Anyone here from the US?

Sun Dec 05, 2021 10:18 am

Hi,

Are there any US based matched bettors/arbers/sharps here who wouldn't mind having a chat? Just want to ask a couple of questions about the US market.

Thanks

Somewhere in 2018 The Supreme Court legalized online betting there. I am looking for future competition on the market between bookies, but US bookies have big margins, they're not attractive related to the Offshore ones. Many States did not introduce online betting so far. A Federal Court recently suddenly blocked The Seminole/FLA Governor. I suspect some economic war behind the scenes.

Imagine cutthroat competition between USA based bookies vs Offshore ones. I hope the Offshore players such as Heritage sports, Bookmaker/BetCris, BetOnline, maybe 5Dimes/BetAnySports and sister bookies to reduce their margins, to introduce bigger limits, to appear in some major brokerage firms.
That means many European and Asian bettors may increase the volumes. Pinny's worsened behavior will reverce to the sharpen one, as of several years ago. Many more betting opportunities will be available for the bettors from all over the World.

That's why I'm awaiting competition on the US market some day.
Regretfully, I think that written above won't probably happen in the foreseeable future.

Your point of view from the US? :)

I had forgotten to include Bet105 and LowVig on the list above. Any view point from the US would be helpful to shape the big picture in nonresidents' view.

There are some very large sign up bonus offers in the USA at the moment - expected to get bigger around Superbowl time.

Doesn't seem to be many people from this market on this forum though - is there a forum for smart players from USA?

In Asia the baseball is covered (NPB Japan, KBO S. Korea). Especially in vast the European mass media almost didn't target the auditorium through info about the US sports like baseball and Am.football despite they originated in England.
Suppose, if some European players in these conditions diggin' in the Northern American sports, the view upon the markets there slow evolve. On the other hand, because of some details spotted in lack of media analysis, they may generate interesting ideas sometimes.
Next step - their testings. No results are guaranteed, but there is a likelihood, the Euro players may have a slightly different view than players reading and seeing lots of media analysis.

Every state and a different status. In some cases different status in the county. But Europeans are not welcome in US bookmakers, unless you live in the US and you can prove it.
Immense opportunities for those in the US.
