Hello Guys.
As you know I am leaving in Cyprus and we have around 6-8 local bookies here.
Most of them have odds written on papers (old fashion). So that means odds dont change every mins but every 4-5 hours (mostly Bookies) Checking prices we discover that odds are not similar and they have arbs. The most important is that they dont cancel bet slips.
So my idea is every friday collect the odds manual from their shops and create an excel file to add them and find arbs.
I know thats alot of work but I want to give it a try to see if it worth's.
Anyone has an excel file ready ? I am willing to pay someone to create me one. Need it to be easy .
Team A- Team B - Team C odds to show what % is arb if (there is one)
After add my total stake and give me how much to bet on each team
What you think arb users?

Re: Arbing Manual Local shops
I suggest you to make parlay arbing, because you get a higher profit.
Wake up early in the morning , check manually the odds , find three games in which arb occurs (matches should have a time frame of at least 2 hours between each other , let's say 2pm - 4pm - 6.30 pm) , then parlay them.
Actually , matchbook is offering a 0% commission on soccer , so you can lay matches there one by one.
I have done this myself and i can say that if the arbing parlay goes to the 3rd match , you can reach at least 20% profit

When you back Juventus @ 1.5 at your local while at the same time lay Juventus is @1.40 at betfair , then it's impossible that lay Juventus jumps above 1.50.
Even if it jumps above 1,50 (let's say 1.53) , you will still have profits. Why ? Yes , you will loose in this match (juventus - Inter) , but you have already earned smth like 10% in 2 first matches.
Based on my experience , i never head a negative parlay arb.The line always moved in my way , cuz i always picked (heavy) favourites

if you see even before starting the first match that you third match is going against you ,you can let the profit of first two matches in the softbook,so you can avoid big damage if parlay goes to the third one. Once i had a 5 teams parlay ,with 1000 euro stake, total odds 3.7, and the profit was something like 550 euros.

Re: Arbing Manual Local shops
Uk local shops have a website and it is very easy to find arbs. In cyprus none of them have website. So need to collect the odds and add them in excel to calculate arbs.bri999 wrote:shop arbing is not very difficult, all you need is a laptop with mobile broadband in your car parked outside the bookies, cyprus wrote: Hello Guys.

you'll soon know if there any arbs in your local shop, in the UK there are many big chains of betting shops and shop
arbing used to be very lucrative but now it's price change after price change but as they were big chains and not
local bookies you didn't have to worry about getting your legs broken, I'd be careful about these "local bookies" I
don't imagine they will take too kindly to you taking their money if they were to catch on to what you are up to.

Ever heard of OCR? ... Excel Sheets, pens and calculators? If this is true, then arbing is by far not yet dead and will not be in the near future

OP: Do you mean you want to do a dutch bet, i.e. put a bet on home, draw, away in three different bookies? In my experience you don't find many arbs this way, it's better to either lay them at an exchange or dutch them with Pinnacle.
I can provide you with a spreadsheet to find arbs, drop me a PM and we'll discuss how it works.

Re: Arbing Manual Local shops
After chating with cyprus, I sent him a basic excel to enter odds and find arbs on 1X2, OU, AH etc. It was a simple first approach to see if it would be useful. The excel takes the maximum odds for each outcome and market and tells the arb percentage, which bookies to choose and how much to stake on each side.
"I'm willing to pay" was written on the first post. I didn't expect to be paid for such a simple task, but I didn't even receive a "thank you".... or "your excel sucks"
