Sometimes even with the same rules baseball can be a problem. For example, two bookies may have the same rules, but on a book listed pitchers must start the game and maybe the other bookie didn't list the initial pitchers (or only considers one pitcher).
Another problem is that sometimes the same teams play twice a day, and the arbitrage can be a mistake because it involves different matches.

You should always check if the listed pitchers are the same in both bookies and if the match is exactly the same (same day and hour).

As far as I know, Pinnacle and Bet365 have the same rules (5 innings must be played for run line bets and 9 innings must be played for Asian Handicap or Over/Under bets). Maybe in some specific markets they are not the same. I did bet on baseball but not very often and checking rules before.

You guessed it! Saw a good surebet on a free service and didn't think a lot before placing it. Now I have one side on a bookie that didn't listed a starting pitchers and the other side where the starting pitchers are listed.

What I would like to know now is how often does it happen for starting pitchers to not start a match? Also, I want to know how long before the match the starting pitcher are officially known to start, so I will still have time to save the surebet if the pitchers will not be the same? As you can see I know about the baseball as much as monkey knows about installing windows, so any more info I can get, I will appreciate it. Thank you.

I also have a question about baseball arbing.
What about live bets? There shouldn't be any different rules or other problems, isn't it?
