I saw it at bitcointalk too and it led me here. Tennis asked for a third party to judge the case. Betcoin said OK, pick a mediator and we'll show the proof. Tennis no longer wanted a judge and asked for his money back. Although I don't know that much about Betcoin or Tennis this is pretty obvious.

I am considering to involve an independent 3rd party mediator in this case.
Would you agree on providing them with a proof of your accusations against me as you do not want to provide it to me directly)?

If you would like to consult a 3rd party mediator, please let us know now, and we will communicate with the mediator only, going forward. Everything that we have said prior about you getting the deposit back, as long as there are not multiple accounts will be null and void. We do not lose mediation, as we do not suspend an account without clear evidence of abuse. You will be subject to withholding of the entire balance, going forward. You get 1 mediator, so pick a good one! Please let us know what you have decided, as once our resolution is complete, the matter will be closed.

Betcoin definitely isn't a fan of you guys here. I don't even know what scanner technology is here. I'll stick around and learn.
It is also noteworthy, that in his private communication with us, he threatened to go to BitcoinTalk, SBR and the arbusers forum about this. This was, of course, after we had already suspended his betting, and determined that he had violated our TOS, but it is certainly noteworthy. He conveniently left the arbusers part out of his post here. As always, we encourage all players to share their unique experiences with Betcoin.ag, everywhere they can. Especially places like the arbusers forum, where we want it made clear that users of their scanner technology will not be tolerated. it is unfortunate that some players are still trying to violate the most basic rules (of nearly all sportsbooks). The vast majority of players at Betcoin have an exceptional experience.

Tennis even complained at Reddit.

I think this is an interesting case. I add a few thoughts, feel free to discuss.

1) everyone can put any nonsense (legally speaking) into their T&C. This doesn't mean anything. I'm skeptical that any court would follow a rule like we do not allow the use of a "scanning technology". Why should that stand. In that sort of reasoning you can also disallow a calculator or even someone who regulary reads the newspaper. More or less what they are saying is, you are to smart for us your bets are void.

1a)I know bots are also not allowed in the TCs in almost all bookmakers, but seriously i dont think this would stand in any proper court. This firms use all sorts of KI, Algos or whatever to profile their players, they can also monitor all the markets if they want to.

1b) I know they need to do this to survive, but its definitely not ethical.

2) It looks like tennis is using some sort of help from a machine, maybe a bot. But as said in (1) according to my understanding this shouldnt matter, even if he spotted surebets or value by monitoring the markets with his eyes whats the point. Why should the method of getting value making a difference here?

2b) He also tries to use public opinion to blackmail them. This is an obvious move. I can understand this strategy but for the future it might worth investing some time in strategie where this is not needed.

3) From a practical standpoint I would always suggest to find ways within their TCs and not try to fight them. But this doesnt make their bevaiour the right thing. Its just what constitutes smart bettors for me. people who always find new ways to win.

b) I did not use betcoin.ag recently, but this thread is very helpful. Now I know if you play them smart they will pay, at least for now. For me this is good news, so thank you for this piece of information.

I agree with everything you say and would have more compassion for Tennis if he hadn't tried to blackmail and smear Betcoin. Do you guys write your own stuff or use things such as Betberger? If I could only use 5 European books, which would be the best for finding soft lines.
