BetInAsia API commission

Wed Sep 20, 2023 1:52 pm

Hi,

I'm using the Mollybet API via BetInAsia and I'm not sure if I want to continue. The documentation is pretty bad (but I think that the blame is on Molly there) and I did have issues in the beginning but i managed to figure them out, took some time but the issues were one time at least. The API is pretty much stable, haven't had any issues of that kind. Now, I have to say that I'm pretty unsatisfied with the commission rate. The standard API commission rate is 2% on all odds. In my opinion it is way too high, from the beginning I was aware of the fact, but the circumstances were that I had to take BIA API route.

For example the API commission on the Sportmarket platform is 0.5% on top of the odds that are already higher than BIA's (the commission on all odds for standard users on BIA is higher than on Sportmarket for example on BF odds), so not only the odds are higher, the commission is also lower on Sportmarket. I'd very much like to hear your opinions about this, and if someone had the same dillema as me.

I searched the forum but haven't found anything on this topic. I was wondering if the commission is negotiable and is someone managed to get it lower somehow?

Thanks in advance!

Edit: I'm not sure if the 2% is referred to the raw bookie odds or on the mollybet odds, or on the actual BIA odds. I have no idea what does the 2% mean, BIA isn't very responsive when it comes to emails and help overall, but I can confirm that my odds are defintely lower than on standard accounts.

My SB account is no more active so I can't login but I remember their odds were a little bit higher than BIA ones.
BIA 0.10% cashback made the final balance almost the same.
If you don't have Arbusers cashback, it is better to choose SB.

I think that you're confusing the commission on the Molly exchange with the commission on BIA itself for normal taking.
(on the exchange you can offer liquidity, so you would be getting a better price, and after the 2% you're still ahead, in theory)

If I'm not mistaken, their commission starts at 0.5%, plus some extra fee for specific providers (could be 0.25% for ISN and 0.5% extra for singbet, but maybe it's my memory failing).

About two years ago I did a test of available services of this type. Molly, black and I don't know what names yet. My vwinner was a sport market. The only criterion was the lowest possible fee, i.e. obtaining the highest possible exchange rate for the match. For the same match, one service had, for example, an odds of 2.00 and another service 2.01.

As for the offer of rates only in the molly platform (SM) for other users, if I enter the rate lay 2.00, the other users will see the rate 1.986, which they can take.

I see that Sportmarket offers FairExchange. Does it have Cash-out option? Is it reliable or is it like Orbit where the Cash-out button constantly disappears when you need it?
