Hey guys,
I stake set amounts each arb and stay on a set strategy, which so far is working for me.
On Friday, I had a few mistakes on the bookies part, and contacted the bookie in question as both sides of my arb lost. Then on saturday one of my bookmakers paid me when they shouldn't - naturally I left it be. This has not been rectified by the bookmaker so I have left it be.
I keep very good records of everything, and tonight after doing my nightly updates for my records of all balances across bookies, I found my turnover (profit) was about 22%, I normally aim for about 1% profit per day so... this was a shock.
However today, I have found that 6 bets have been settled incorrectly and this has contributed to the massive increase which I wasn't expecting. So how often do these kind of mistakes happen? And what is the usual outcome / how do you guys handle them?
I just need to re-iterate this is DEFINITELY not a mistake on my part such as placing two unders etc. I have gone through and checked each bet today as I mark mistakes to keep track of how badly I am doing - I made no mistakes. I usually make 1 major mistake. such as two unders, per 125 bets.

Re: Bookmakers making mistakes
I've had bookies pay me out incorrectly a few times including nearly a grand extra by Victor Chandler. I've also had bookies settle winning bets as losers, that's why it's important to keep records so you can rectify the errors when they happen. If they overpay you they sometimes realise the errors a day or 2 later or sometimes don't, if they don't just keep it.

Even Pinnacle Sports can settle wagers wrong sometimes. (Happened to me twice!)
Always check how bet is settled.
Always check how bet is settled.

Re: Bookmakers making mistakes
I keep records of everything, and check all results where I get a contradiction (2-loses / 2-wins).
Fortunately, these are all correct on my end - it is one of my bookmakers who has made the mistake. I will wait and see if they notice the error or not - if they don't, I'll assume it is a little bit on the side
Thanks for the answers +1 all
