Could someone suggest a nice cold hard wallet to keep my BTC outside of exchanges. This should not be Trezor and Ledger.

There is not many valuable options for cold wallets, Ellipal is option, but I didn't had a personal touch with their wallet and app.

what's wrong with trezor/ledger?

My poor experience tells me that...

1. Ledger
2. Trezor ONE
3. Trezor T

Trezor T might be a pain in the @ss because of the sensitive screen some times, better switch to ONE.

in addition, let me clarify that Ledger's Nano S and X are perfect tools.
I would stay in the selections above.

If you want to store only 1/2 coins or tokens, Ledger Nano S, is the best option. The Nano X may have some issues with the battery ( my Nano X has stopped recharging out of nothing.) but has bigger available places to store crypto.

In crypto what you need is safety. And ledger has the most safe track record till now.

Trezor's CoinJoin raises questions of privacy. Be careful with Trezor.

I am very happy with ledger, and of course thank you all for your recommendations.

As far as I know, the newest Trezor Safe 3 is the safest wallet on the market right now thanks to its Secure Element. But do your own research of course.
