What happens if you disagree with the outcome of a bet?
Are there any authorities to contact to have justice?
Thank you all in advance.

Re: Dispute with bookmaker
Can you explain the case?
It happened to me that a winning bet was settled as losing, but I contacted customer support and they asked me to provide information about the match result, I sent the link from livescores and other similar services and they changed the result.

ppintaluba, thanks for your post.
Same story here, but they are not willing to change the result. I have contacted the customer support several times (more than 5) via email and chat, providing enough information, but they answered with nonsense.
What should I do? Thanks

ppintaluba, ami5, whitesnake
thanks for your replies.
I have exchanged several emails with the bookie and they claim they do not offer handicaps during live betting. Then I provided evidence placing another bet live, on handicaps. At that point they argued that it was a 2-way handicap, not an Asian handicap (what is the difference? They are the same to me); anyway I do not understand how this could affect the outcome of my bet.
They just keep on answering with nonsense and I am bored to waste my time.
What do you think now that you have more information? I was reluctant to post more, since if anyone from the bookie reads this, he/she may easily link this to me.
I have evidence of the bet slip with local time and then one can confront the time with the goals time (thing that I have already done in my emails with them, but then they started the 'we do not offer Asian handicaps' mantra).
Thanks again
thanks for your replies.
Asian handicap live: considering the score at the time of my bet, the bet should result in a win; considering the final score (from the beginning of the match) it resulted into a loss. All bookies compute the outcome from the time when you place your bet, for handicaps. Can you tell us more about game you were playing?

Re: Dispute with bookmaker
Some bookies have inplay handicaps +2,5; -0,5 etc but they do count it as you would place a bet before the game. One of the examples is Unibet. Which bookie are we talking about?pancolato wrote: Asian handicap live: considering the score at the time of my bet, the bet should result in a win; considering the final score (from the beginning of the match) it resulted into a loss. Re: Dispute with bookmaker
bialko,
the bookie I am talking about is in fact Unibet.
They told me that the handicap does count from the moment when I placed the bet. At that point my bet was up for review; then they got back to me, saying they do not offer this kind of handicap.
I have looked into their terms and conditions and live betting is not mentioned (at least I could not find). I thought it as industry standard to apply handicap from the moment when you place the bet; any advice? How do you know they do count it as you would place a bet before the game?
Thanks a lot.

Re: Dispute with bookmaker
Read the bookmaker's rules about in-play handicaps and send them an e-mail by pointing out their mistake, according to their own rules.
A voided bet could be subject to interpretation but this one should be clear.
It would help if you would be willing to reveal the name of the book.

qbet,
as previously mentioned, unibet is the bookmaker: I think we posted pretty much together.
Thanks a lot to anybody taking the time to answer my post. Highly appreciated.

Re: Dispute with bookmaker
I am having a look at one of their live game Olomouc - Slavia. It's 2 - 0 right now at the 84th minute and the handicaps they offer are -2.5 and - 1.5. So it looks like that the current score counts.

if you tell us the score, minute and odds at the moment you placed the bet , we can judge if current result counts or not.
