The exchange is digitexfutures.com
So , zero fees can happen by the yearly issuance of a small number of a native token called DGTX which is necessary for the use of exchange
Number of tokens to be issued is to be decided by the token owners .
This is supposed to be bitmex competitor and is the first of its kind to introduce zero fees in a futures exchange
Bitmex is currently the leader in crypto futures exchange with billions $ of daily volume
I see great potential here since digitex is currently hugely undervalued
Any thoughts are most welcomed

I agree, it looks promising - I am attracted by the exchange which will look like a ladder of Betfair trading software and it will be commission free. I think lots of people will be having this opinion and the value of the coin will rise.

I am sorry but i don't see this platform to have any future with this structure. Who will exchange his btc for example in order to buy this token and bet with it? How will he/she hedge the currency exchange risk of this token? Let's say that you have 100 euros. In order to bet to this platform you will need btc or ethereum first in order to buy their token. After that, you will bet on the price of btc/usd, for example, with their token at risk.If you win you get paid in their token. If you lose you lose in their token. How the exchange rate of btc/usd/ dgtx is calculated? This token will be extremely more unstable than bitcoin. You will never be sure how much you are risking because of its unstable nature. Every second you are risking a sharp price depreciation of your profits.

There's already a predicted solution that eliminates price risk by the so called DGTX Peg System

The argument about price risk of DGTX makes total sense , however obviously you didn't read their white paper.ilovethisforum wrote: I am sorry but i don't see this platform to have any future with this structure. Yes i didn't read the white paper. I read the section about pegging. My question is, who will be on the other side of the peg trade? Someone will have to take their currency exchange risk. If the exchange is the one, then i believe that the only way to support that system, is by inflating their currency when they will not have the btc or eth required to pay the ones that have used the pegged system. This will add more selling pressure to their currency. I just don't understand the platforms that want to create their own currencies in order to make trades. There is already a king currency(btc) use it,this will create greater adoption.

As for the peg system my understanding is that price locks at the time you are making the bet/trade
Re: Ex professional Betfair trader opens crypto futures exchange with zero fees
My understanding is that Their native currency (DGTX) serves two purposes 1) enabling zero fees by issuing a small number of these tokens every year starting from 2021 , 2) creating demand for this token , thus an upward pressure to its priceilovethisforum wrote: Yes i didn't read the white paper. Hi
I' m watching this since your first post and the price now is 2x more and 5 or 6 times up from May. They now waiting for a major exchange to list the token, i believe this drives the price.
I don' t know where it is going but this was definitely a good call for some profit in this bear market. Thanks
