Hi!

Does anyone know any site that offers search for football leagues and clubs in the world? I need to go trough about 1500 games and write down the leagues they were played in, and I found out that just googling is a very very slow process. The games were all played out in the last month or so. I only need to know the league of one team so I know what league was the match played in.

Even in the free version of that API, you'll have good, but very basic Stats. There are existing also many other good services around too.
Another idea is possible. If you love that sport, if you are much deep in soccer (or whatever sport), and if you analyze the API Stats, you may create your own metrics and further make intensive tests during the years. I'm sure that you'll be skyrocketed in data analysis and therefore in the profit if that idea is combined with observing the sport in general. The observation allows you to spot some things, invisible to any API service.
