gambling and credit history
hi all, does anyone know if online gambling/arbing affect your credit check in UK when you use debit/ credit cards as a deposit method. I google it but answers aren't clear. Some people says it does some says it doesn't.

Re: gambling and credit history
No, unless you get credit accounts at the bookies.
You might see a search from some UK bookies on your credit report but this is just a ID verification search. This is the method they use to verify your ID and why Ladbrokes, WH etc will rarely ask for your ID. Only you can see these searches - they are not visible by lenders.

Re: gambling and credit history
Probably not but it wouldn't be far fetched if using a credit card for gaming did have an effect on your credit rating as they would identify you as a gambler. You could be charged though if you use a credit card both by the gaming company and the provider.
Using Moneybookers is more efficient and in my opinion safer. You can also use your debit/credit card to fund you Moneybookers account and perhaps this is not identified as a gaming transaction. There could still be charges though by the credit card provider.

Thanks for reply.
Moneybookers is the best option and I know this but what to do if bookmakers are not MB friendly? How to cash out bonuses from them?

Take a look at their other payment methods and see what they'll accept. Some accept Paypal.
