IBC coming back?

Sat Jun 10, 2023 8:52 am

Hi, creating this topic to give heads up that IBC starts to offer playable live limits on molly platforms. Low level soccer in-play can be bet at around 100 EUR nowadays. Still nothing on pre-event though.

Well, let me present a slightly different point of view here.
Don't believe 100% the popular story played to the mass audience (Caesars Palace Las Vegas, FBI, the fictional IBC & SBO "real boss" Paul Phua, Montenegro, the Chinese Triads, etc. here). The true origins of the hidden battle and participants in the story are not publicly visible at all. They are much, much higher in the invisible hierarchy and politics. Phua and the other mentioned participants here played their part perfectly.
The battle behind the public scenes and other factors forced the SBO and IBC to reduce their presence outside Asia for several years, but in recent years, they have cautiously offered a greater market presence outside of their Asian domicile and you see that fact in your previous posting.

Now remember the operators many, many years ago in the past. The very first incarnations of Intertops, Pinnacle, BetCris, SBO, IBC and so on were so solid in terms of offered limits. Even joke firms like Interwetten were more player-friendly to some extent.
Now: Pinnacle survived but more margins and different game limits apply, BetCris is not the same(incl. BookMaker brand) and the newborn ISN is unique but not enough for market users. The IBC & SBO's branded U-boats sank safely to a controllable stealth depth for a time before resurfacing (not only due to Caesars, Montenegro, blah-blah version 2.0).

My opinion about "former" monsters like IBC and SBO:
- The Molly channels seem to me like feedback, used from their end to feel the pulse of the market and to test something new. Almost non-usability. It's preferable to use other home channels. Bigger playing limits.
- Many years later, very awful margins at many of the mass markets - so winners are not feeling welcome.
- The unique odds in favor of the favorites in some selected markets.
- Again advance in some niche markets. For example, They've got some unique Cricket markets and odds, those chances are visible if you read that game well. Another example is the possibility of overcoming the new Iron Curtain after the RUS vs UKR war - some agencies don't offer Russian, Belarussian and Ukrainian events at all. Here Pinny and ISN aren't the sufficient presence of Sharps. The mentioned U-boats offer sometimes very useful odds. For example, VTB Basketball is full of plenty of value odds. While Pinny & ISN offer balanced and conservative odds there, sometimes the Minotaurs publish excellent odds. See the matches of Avtodor Saratov, UNICS Kazan, CSKA Moscow after Itoudis' era and so on. Not to mention the wrong line of 24 points (in the moment of 1:26 during 3rd Q) by IBC during the third quarter of Lokomotiv Kuban vs Zenith St.Petersburg (Autumn 2022), when the pre-match handicap was circa 7.5 or something. See other matches of Lokomotiv Kuban under Aleksander Sekulić and so on.
- The Philippine basketball is their natural disaster - I think Norman Black's tactics & the Meralco Bolts team made many neutral observers richer.
- And so on.

I don't see IBC in mollybet in a new season. Neither in pre-match nor in live. Hopefully they did not disappear again and will come back once top competitions like English premier league start.
