As Swedish, I would say that Swedish-owned Unibet disgrace Sweden's reputation online.
I would say that Unibet is one of the major gaming companies who cheat most against their clients. Locked accounts are very common through their security department. Unibet may think they have suspicions about the customer but in fact maybe it's Unibet themselves who is the crook. The money ends up in Unibet's own pocket of fraud against their customers. In this position, they earn money even though their odds compilers usually are completely useless to put the right odds. For regular players they can be better, but for arbers and players that want higher bet limits. I do NOT recommend Unibet to anyone.
This is a common rule they use to lock accounts.
Unibet Bonus Rule.4.8.3 abuse Will result in the account holder's account is closed. Unibet Reserves the right to refuse redemption and / or confiscate any account holder's earnings ....
Regarding our site as we have had long discussions with Unibet affiliate manager Elen Garth who accused us of bonus cheats and closed our affiliate account several years back. Something B2U completely disagree. Word against another.

Re: I do NOT recommend Unibet to anyone
Just like to add a few comments regarding unibet bookmakers
Really I'm just going to add more substance to all thie negativity
The question to ask must be how can they be permitted to operate a legal business?
Is there no authority anywhere which genuinely cares how bookmakers operate? Forget the gambling commission. Surely they set the standards by which bookmakers are allowed to operate. They pencil in the boundaries. Unibet would be quick to point this out.
Everywhere I look there are numerous complaints about unibet. They simply don't care about their customers. And more importantly don't have to.
Like many other people unibet have stolen my money, and apparently without breaking the law of fair play.
Only online bookmakers can do this and only unibet do it so blatantly. I can chuck words out like scammers , cheaters and scum all day long but what good does it do?
When will they be stopped?

Re: I do NOT recommend Unibet to anyone
Hello Rob and welcome to the forum. I m sorry to see you lost funds with them, or any other bookmaker.
It is mu understanding that all gambling commissions around Europe, are there to make sure the state receives the taxes they planned to receive. Gambling commissions are not there to protect the bettor.
On the other hand, the bettor is not completely unprotected before rogue bookmakers. There are some steps you could take to protect your self. Start by reading this: portal/how-to-take-legal-action-against-a-bookmaker/
In addition, you could present your case with Unibet here, and lets see how our members comment.
Good luck.

Re: I do NOT recommend Unibet to anyone
Thank you for that information.
I, like many others, believed the gambling commission was there to protect punters / customers. Unibet would be quick to point out they are fully regulated.
You must forgive my lack of understanding here.
I read that unibet and 32Red are fined over 7 million for basically allowing duplicate accounts and not recognising problem gamblers.
Surely every customer is a problem gambler if they are being continually cheated? Even if the customer finds a way to win every effort is made to avoid paying out.
So the customer will have their money legally stolen either way-
They control casino games so that's just a donation scheme. Each deposit is simply an entertainment fee.
Should the customer be fortunate to win on events not controlled by unibet they find other ways to refuse paying out.
Did you know unibet can refuse to pay out winnings if a customer has association with another betting company? So for example if a customer has an account with Ladbrokes or bet365.
They can request your bank statements, disguising it as a security/ means check. If they find evidence you use other gambling companies they can (and do) refuse to pay.
This is in their standard T&C's
I'm just terribly confused.
You have Keith lemon hopping around in adverts on TV (not unibet) sucking vulnerable people into something they don't understand.
When will these people be stopped. Yes I realise it makes the government money but at what cost?

Welcome to reality.
We have 100s of posts in regards to SOW checks and how they are used to stop smart betting while forgetting addicts.
Do you have any case to report happening to you?

Re: I do NOT recommend Unibet to anyone
I have to say, that I have not had access to Unibet account for many years. They are really careful against smart bettors. I had access to clones for a while, but this group is just very unfriendly to smartbetting anyway. But they are certainly happy with this reputation in our community.
