Looking to connect with shop runners
I currently have a small network of runners in the UK, betting my own and a syndicates bets, decent ROI. I'm looking to grow this, so please get in touch if you work with, or are, placing bets in multiple shops.

Re: Looking to connect with shop runners
If that’s ok to ask (I assume this is fairly common knowledge):
- what kind of size can you get in the shops (compared to say pinnacle for the same match)?
- can you bet anonymously?
- are they good for minor leagues, or only for the major stuff?
Thanks guys

Re: Looking to connect with shop runners
My take is that everyone who does shops or has been doing so for a while has their own ways. To answer a few questions without giving too much away
- what kind of size can you get in the shops (compared to say pinnacle for the same match)?
This can be small or very big depending on the league. Bear in mind you could even arb main leagues or atp / wta matches on tennis or cricket top games in some shops. So in essence you can theoretically bet a lot of money on value bets
- can you bet anonymously? Absolutely that’s the whole point need to be nimble and discreet obv
- are they good for minor leagues, or only for the major stuff?
Minor leagues too but stakes will be smaller (say PL games you can bet 5k fairly easily, smaller leagues 500 quid is already decent)
My view is that there would be a lot of synergies to discuss this between people who have been doing it for a long time. Have met people who do the dogs or horses whereas I only do football tennis cricket and golf so would love to know more about other avenues

Does it mean you have to carry a lot of cash to place bets in shops? Otherwise it won't be anonymous.Jack Peak wrote: ↑Thu Feb 22, 2024 12:59 pmMy take is that everyone who does shops or has been doing so for a while has their own ways. To answer a few questions without giving too much away

Re: Looking to connect with shop runners
I think you guys are bullshitting people in this forum.
How do you place a 5K bet in a London shop without triggering the affordability checks? Tell me the shop and I will run there ASAP.

You split the stake across multiple shops of the same bookmaker, problem solved.Goojybooboo wrote: ↑Thu Feb 22, 2024 4:16 pmI think you guys are bullshitting people in this forum.

Re: Looking to connect with shop runners
Last posts seem to doubt what some of us are saying. I think the key here is to always be on the move, London is therefore probably the only place where you can do it as hundreds of shops.
Someone asked re cash and the answer is not even, initially yes but then you just keep the slips and that’s your liquidity you can roll indefinitely.
Have no intention and no reason to bs, however I am interested in the initial topic of discussion which was to connect with people who do this for a living. Have met a few in the shops but sounded like El Tea had a good network ?

Re: Looking to connect with shop runners
What? You're gonna find some people who will bet for you for free? Or what? And if not, if they bet themselves as well, it wont make odds collapse for sure ... not speaking about owners of such shops refusing to take multiple 500 quid bets...

Maybe that's the case in UK, in my country the bookies aren't as competent nor fast, well I guess not everyone operates under the same circumstances. It seems like you guys have milked the british bookies a bit too much.

There is also a way to deal with bookies dropping the odds, but I can't share that info...

What kind of arbitration are we talking about? Live or before the match?
