I would like to share with you my first mistake that cost me about 10% from my account .
I placed a bet on a basketball game in handicap 7.5 but when i press the confirm button the book changed it to 6, 5 and i did not see and of course the match ended with 7 points handicap.
The arbing is not risk free.
The life and arbing continues.

Re: My first mistake that cost me
if i place small bets i check them twice of three time......But when i place bets round 1000 euros i check them to many times and even before the event starts....and check imediatly when the event finishes....I hope 10% doesnt hurt to much to you....But when you read somebody mistakes you think its very rare that would happend to you,and when it happends to you you will learn a good lesson....and if you dont learn better leave this job !

I only check big bets. Otherwise no. Checking cost you a lot of time. And long term, if you do something wrong, it should even out. Some mistakes will bring you profit, some loss.

Re: My first mistake that cost me
My first mistake was using Titanbet - total thieves.
They'll claim palp after the event has finished (even though they weren't best price at the time of placement)
So that was stake refunded on one side and lost on the other.
If I had known about SBR at the time i might have filed a complaint.
I was just starting out so the actual loss was peanuts but it still rankles even now.
As for checking your bets I would recommend you do. Not because mistakes even out, which they do appear to , but because bookies can settle incorrectly.
From my experience, if left unchallenged then these incorrect settlements would have favoured the bookie. As it is, I challenged where I lose out (and they are always settled correctly). The ones where I have an unexpected windfall i leave alone and the bookies pretty much don't correct them leaving me with a little boost to my income.
