Marathon usually limits very fast to 10% of the market price, and that amount will get lower everytime another limited player (arber) will place a bet on that line.
Or at least thats how I think it works.
I dont think there is a point delaying getting limited there, just grab as much as you can as fast as possible.
And still after the limits if you are fast on some major markets you manage to bet 500 on a marathon leg.
The arb is long gone by now, my advice is bet on them as soon as you see them.

I agree with that. I would take a 10% Marathon over an unlimited account in most other books.

Maybe if you only bet on big leagues, on normal markets (the ones that normally bet usual bettors, like Money Lines) and only bet rounded stakes, not close to the maximum bet allowed, you can last a bit longer.

But even limited it's a must

Avoid exotic bets and avoid unnecessary deposit/withdraws. At the end the limit will come no matters how you play.

Does Marathonbet ever lift the limit, or is it once you're limited it's permanent?

Limits stay down, once you re limited to pennies in major leagues, you can say goodbye.
